In a caste-ridden Indian society, Nath and Seva have always fought against casteism. Although Nath is supportive of Jyothi’s decision to marry Arun, a Dalit, her mother remains skeptical. Soon after marriage, Nath discovers many truth’s about Arun which leaves him deeply disturbed. Nath and Seva undergo a radical change when they question their beliefs on the idea of casteism and Nath’s idealism.

I just watched this play to watch Rajeev siddhartha as Jay Prakash. He and his role was stunning. His character should have been given more preference in this play.

Absolutely insane......she wants to marry that fellow to uplifting him.....lift him up.....marriage and family life is not the tool for uplifting a person....that fellow is violent ....he keeps venting his anger on her....how is she going to put up with all this violent behaviour and anger.....it is not a practical or sensible solution

It is so sad to note that Credits have not been mentioned for the playwright Vijay Tendulkar and whoever the translator is. Recording quality is fine, but all actors don’t seem to have enough stage experience.

بہت ہی متاثر کن ۔۔۔ لکھنے والے نے کیا ہی خوب تحریر کیا.... اور فنکاروں نے کردار کو کیا شاندار انداز سے ادا کیا ہے.... Superb. گوکہ معاشرے کی عکاسی زبردست کی ہے... اس موضوع پہ بہت کچھ لکھ سکتے ہیں اور بول بھی سکتے ہیں... صرف ایک لاٸن لکھ دیتے ہیں... کہ مذہںبی اور معاشرتی اقدار کو ہر صورت میں مدنظر رکھنا ہے... بھلے وہ کسی بھی ذات کا ہو.... اب اس پر بھی کافی بحث ہو سکتی ہے... بہرحال اس ڈرامے میں ہر کردار نے کیا ہی شاندار پرفارمنس کا مظاہرہ کیا جتنی تعریف کریں کم ہو گی....

Why is it so.... cruelty, narcissism, domestic violence are not dependent on any caste or religion....it depends on a person and his mindset and situations....many sc, st and obc boys give their wife from upper caste in a blissful marriage and vice versa... whereas some obc sc and st women are tortured by their husbands from upper castes and vice versa....so this is totally crap...though i watched it just for the sake of commendable act displayed by actors. It was Jyothi's mistake that she didn't notice his abusive behaviour when he came to meet her parents....she should have outrightly rejected him that moment.

Poverty, hunger , societal criticism, social exploitation and unemployment can make any sensible man to turn to be violent and non sensical..... irrespective of caste and class...this movie is just trying to discourage those who think about casteism as futile.

Why this play had a sad ending? At the end, she should have left her husband and came back forever to her MAAYKA house. I've sympathy for lower casts, sc, st and obc but still I think that she and her family should have opposed that bastard husband instead of supporting him 😢. Hope this never happens to anyone 😢. At the end, maybe she's taunting and criticizing her father and left him because he didn't take the above action.
