We planned our trip in such a way that we could enjoy the beautiful sunset at the very famous Kanyakumari sunset point, we stayed late at the very point and enjoyed the late night view of the Vivekanand rocks.
Next day in the morning we were up early and jumped to the sunrise point and were amazed by the beauty of mother nature after some time at the spot we went to visit the very famous Shri Paatham of Kanyakumari devi but unfortunately videography was not allowed there, In my recommendation that is a must visit place if you are in Kanyakumari, we ended our day with some shopping at the Shell market.
We then took a train from CAPE to VAR which is around 150 km.
Varkala is a very beautiful and very underrated place, a very clean and silent place for people of every age, A beach to spend a beautiful evening with your loved one's or a walk on the Northern clifft with friends and family are some pretty good options to choose from.
There are some pretty good Cafe to eat from and beautiful tibetan shops to shop from, we even visited the very ancient temple Sri Janardanaswamy and that was all from Varkala.
