Real praise and worship to God is the love for God’s word and right doctrine. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” - 2 Tim 2:15
@ishiftfocus17693 жыл бұрын
The church is facing a gospel crisis. No one can agree on what it is, or how to preach it. Christian catchphrases and slogans abound in personal testimonies causing serious doubt as to whether self-named Christians are actually trusting the gospel of Christ or not. People “receive Jesus”, “renounce sin”, and “believe God” without knowing the preaching of the cross. A failure to rightly divide often allows a cross-less gospel, which results in unsaved people thinking that they are.
@ishiftfocus17693 жыл бұрын
Religion is the product of the devil's blinding. Karl Marx was right, religion is the opiate of the people. Religion will fail you because it always depends on your performance. Religion by definition is what you do to garner God’s favor or assuage God’s wrath. You are not capable of doing either. You cannot garner God’s favor, Christ did that for you. You cannot assuage God’s wrath, Christ did that for you. So it is important that you realize that the one mediator between man and God is not you. Christianity is not a religion, Christianity is a faith, the object of the faith is the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
@ishiftfocus17693 жыл бұрын
It is not the gospel of salvation merely to believe in Jesus; the devils do that (Mark 1:24, James 2:19). It is not the gospel to love Jesus with all our heart; the Muslims do that as well. “Making Jesus Lord” is something the Mormons include in their theology, and every good Hindu “accepts” Jesus (they accept thousands of gods). None of the beliefs above can save you from God’s rightful judgment against our sins. Paul clearly states the gospel of our salvation in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. “… Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: …” - 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 It was through Christ’s death that our sin is removed and we are justified. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” - 2 Corinthians 5:21 We receive righteous standing with God by faith. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” - Romans 5:1 Belief in this gospel alone will save you and give you the grace of eternal life (Rom 6:23). First, we hear this gospel of grace. Second, we trust it, then we are saved: no more, no less. “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise…” - Ephesians 1:13
@ishiftfocus17693 жыл бұрын
Some have used “born again” as a way to separate the devout from the nominal Christian. Unfortunately, many believe they are saved because they have a “born again” feeling, changed life, or emotional experience and have no testimony of trusting Christ’s finished work on the cross. When studied from the Bible rightly divided, “born again” is something that only Israel could do. No Gentile could be born again. To understand why only Israel could be born again, we must know how they were born the first time. In Exodus the nation of Israel was born the first time when God delivered them out of Egypt. The LORD calls the nation his firstborn son. “And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me…” - Exodus 4:22-23 Having been delivered and redeemed from Egypt, Israel was given the law, the Mosaic covenant, that sanctified them as a people. Over time Israel became disobedient and where the law was sin abounded. They were no longer bound by Egypt, but they were bound by the covenant to their sins with no way out. As Israel’s sins grew it was clear that merely being born a Jew into the promises and covenants of God was not able to cause them to serve the Lord. The prophets spoke of a better covenant that would replace the old for the house of Israel (Jer 31:31). This new covenant would include the impartation of God’s Spirit to cause them to walk in his statutes (Eze 36:27). It was this new covenant that was necessary for God to fulfill his kingdom promises to Israel. That the prophets already spoke about Israel’s new covenant is why when Jesus spoke to Nicodemus about being born again he said: “Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?” - John 3:10 Nicodemus should have known that Israel had a great need, and that the need was for their nation to be redeemed from their old covenant bondage to enter the kingdom God had promised them. “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” - John 3:3 Jesus made it clear to Nicodemus that the nation had to be born again when he said “Ye must be born again.” (John 3:7 -We know that “ye” is the plural pronoun; and “thee” the singular.) Jesus came to Israel ministering their need for being born again through a better covenant. No longer would Israel be identified by the old covenant but by the new. People who think they are born again must also think they are in some way Israel.

Happy for Kayne. Sanctification and becoming more like Christ is a lifelong process. Sending the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost after the Ascension of Christ is how people like Kayne are born again. When the Holy Spirit convicts you of sin, it begins this process of changing you if you choose to repent and become born again. Where you want to become more like Christ and know Him based on what he did for us as recorded in the Word of God, written by humans, inspired by God himself. Christ is the mediator between humans (who willfully sin against God) and a perfect God of the universe (God the Father)

Kanye needs to speak with John mcarthur, or James white, or Jeff durbin. He needs solid biblical pastors to help him along his way to strengthen his relationship with Christ. The only way to truth, to the father in heaven is through trust and belief in Christ. Repent and trust in Christ who died for our sins and saved us from hell. Trust in Christ and repent

Called lateral thinking. But becomes coherent when you see those thoughts as separate elements to form a picture. The question was about his awakening to spirituality, but that kind of question is hard to answer because it's just an experience that you hope other people percieve, and Kanye is trying here to explain it with different concepts, thoughts and memories that he's had that relate to that experience.

You can focus and make fun of him for going on different subjects or you can pay attention to each subject. He said some amazing and profound things about each subject. I believe he isn’t narcissistic or crazy I think he is just excited and when he brings up a subject he doesn’t like to leave it for later he dives into it and comes back to subject and he will hit another Subject snd comes back to his point 1. How he became religious- he always believe but he got lost and got fed this idea that he was a victim, tried to live for the world and impressing everyone. After he went through long phases where his wife got robbed, he was depleted, lost, realized what was going on with the world and woke up in a sense, he felt the calling of God to change and come back. That’s when he says he basically realized when he is weak instead of trying to prove to others he relies on God. He embraced who God wants him to be, he does his best to be his best him the holy him even though he struggles. He isn’t narcissistic he just realized that he hated himself because the devil wanted him against him and when he realized he needs to rely on God and love himself in a way he becomes who God wants him to be. Other good points from this talk that I heard because I was focused on what he was saying instead of judging what he was saying is this. 1. Black history month isn’t a gift- it’s a reminder that you are a victim and should remember who you were not who you could be. 2. Putting the word “black” behind a description. Why? Just say he is a human with a name and his accomplishment. No need to put skin color in the award as if it’s good or impressive trait. We are human. That’s basically what I got.

I mean, there is actually a coherent, linear path to his religious views right up to the end. His conclusion was that through all of his success he still found himself breaking down in a manner similar to how his mother would relate to seeing him, and then to re-center himself he had to find some sort of value outside the political/societal norm of "black man oppressed" and rather reposition himself into a position where he placed value on what he perceives is God's vison of a 'better Kanye'. So yes, it all connects.

@@charityscreams5366 Well bot the facts and reality is this.... He is extremely talented, successful and wealthy. Before you say its all about the money, Its not. The point is that his talent and successful results garners the attention of individuals willing to partner/invest in what you seem to criticize as his "Faith in himself". What human being shouldn't have faith in them self? "Faith in myself' got me home from deployments and through med school. You have to have a little ego to make it on certain levels. Ego and arrogance are two completely different elements and I'd argue both have their places in our lives when exercised properly. Be well 😉

@@FormlessPhotography no I'm criticizing him claiming his faith in himself is actually faith in God.
