People are being mad haters especially on the Kanye sub. This might be a really hot take and I might get hate for this, but these are some of the best Kanye songs of all time. Back 2 Me which has maybe verse of the year with Freddie Gibbs, and the most beautiful hook of the year. New Body, Everybody, River, Forever Rollin, Slide, Paid… these are all amazing, top tier Ye. Kanye fans just got them rose tinted glasses on.

100%. These songs have a lot of substance to them. I get the criticism behind saying the LP was meh because of the venue and production, but the music that was played was great. Anyone saying that Donda LP1 is better is simply delusional. Listen to Donda LP1 Hurricane and 24. Those songs were incredibly rough compared to what is being played here. These songs are much much further along and just better quality. Also, we had confirmation that these songs were older versions and not the most recently worked on versions. But yeah def some rose tinted glasses when comparing to previous albums LP's. When the album drops we can compare to other finished albums but rn it seems like a pretty quality project.
