Even after slavery, the fight for equality and the rights all humans should have never ended. Most would say that there really was no other choice but to be enslaved if death is your only likely outcome. If someone put a gun to a woman's head and told them to not fight back as they sexually assault the woman or they will pull the trigger, most would agree with the victim when she said they did not have a choice. Then there are some people that would say that the woman had a choice and that they should have fought and most likely died. All I am saying is that it is not fair to just put all the blame on the many slaves because they did not want to die or be tortured trying to be free.
