Try Mile Davis. The dude was revenant for the half of 20th century. If we are talking about art in general, the Renaissance artists like Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo were much more creative and crazy, than Kanye. Michelangelo stole corpses from the cemetery, which was illegal, to study human anatomy and make his sculptures more realistic.

I think you're totally right, these need more time to breath! Which is why I liked The Life of Pablo, he can elaborate really well on sounds and rythms and flows. These are snippets of beauty, I wish he would do a deluxe edition with expanded songs, considering from the leaks of Yandhi they were originally longer (and awesome).
