One of my favorite songs by Kanye. I can listen to the whole thing from start to finish, and then skip back and listen to it again.

Man, the first time I heard this song I was like 10 or 11, and now whenever I hear it I think about my past. Nothing bad just how different things used to be, listening to this song made me realize what kind of influence Kanye West has had in my life, no-homo no-jock ride. When I say "influence" I mean musically, and fashion wise. Kanye west, you are the man.

I still remember on that movie Fade to Black when Kanye played this beat for Jay and the look on Jay's face was priceless when that sample drops. Classic.

you don't need to conform to every new style, just to the trusted artists. by your logic, you're saying that mbdtf was bad? Kendrick is a newish rapper and he isn't wearing tights and mumbling, idiots like future and travis scott suck, but kanye is still a legitimate rapper.

In Big Seans interview he said: One of my favorite songs of all time, its going to sound cliche and shit because I’m like signed to Kanye.. But, the song on College Dropout, way before I knew Kanye, “Last Call”, and its the last song on The College Dropout. That was one of the songs, I think, that most changed my life. It gave me the most inspiration a song has ever given me.. and, really like, it gave me the motivation to keep going even on them days where I didn’t want to rap no more.

Its songs like this why Kanye got a true fan base in the beginning. He totally went a 180. But lately I think he's been coming back around. He always was a little cocky but he was always humble too. He loss the humility in his flow. But we still ridin with him. No ones perfect, raise your glass to Kanye, the human being!

This is back when Kanye was HUNGRY, and to be honest with tracks like Power, he is one of the few that still are hungry with the lyrics and message. When he tells his story in this song, it motivates ANYBODY, especially the people working two jobs and still hustlin Just to keep the fucking lights on and the landlord in his office.

These time, Kanye was so close to me. I remember goint to waork at 5 am listening to Breath in Breath out while i was finishing gettin dressed up. And this, so bittersweet. I dont wanna take away Kanyes achievments, saying that he a mainstream sellout now, so imma just say, that in 2004 we were on the same tea, now its a World between us. But he a fucking genius.

"Niggas want my old shit, by my old albums" I like old kanye but i have to say i love all of his stuff. My favourite album of his changes depending on my mood. LR is definately the best for like deep thoughtful lyrics but CD has some of the best entendres and word play in rap. 808s is a great experimental album, Graduation beats are dope as fuck and MBDTF has some witty but simple lyrics. Old Kanye and new Kanye are both dope, theyre just different.
