3:18 : If you notice, as the song transitions to a bit about Kanye's "beautiful death", his "so excited" turns into "suicide". Once you've heard it you can't unhear it.
@AdorableEncountersYT3 жыл бұрын
this was a very low point of Kanye’s life and thought about killing himself. A strong theory is that if mbdtf flopped, that he would kill himself. A point that supports this is obviously the line in the song, but also a leaked song that was made around the time that many thought was his audio suicide note. The song is called “never see me again” I highly recommend checking out the whole thing around it because it’s very interesting and really Erie that we may have lost one of the greatest of our generation

As someone who suffers from bipolar myself I can't help thinking that this song is a perfect representation of mania/hypomania. Now, I don't want to downplay the societal issues brought up in this song or other interpretations of it. Rather point out another layer of this masterpiece. As far as I know Ye wasn't aware of his diagnosis when he created Power, yet the accuracy with which he describes his state of mind is astonishing. Reckless driving, hypersexuality, feeling invincible, grandiose delusions, constant buss in your head, feeling overwhelmed, being talkative and argumentative... The signs are there. If anything it's a testament to Ye's honesty and incredible ability to capture his emotions in a musical format. That's a true talent!

Really contemplating this song is an interesting thing to do. There's so much thought and effort put into every part of it, into the music, the beats the samples and the references he makes included with his own deciphering and meanings of the words. It's an actual message with meaning and it's up to you to take an interperation from it. Rather you think it's just fun to listen to or has a deep meaning, it's all quite really made for all ears to enjoy and this would honestly be my favourite song of his for this reason. Edit: Can't really say this about mumble rappers who's 'deepest thoughts' are "I'm sad and I drink lean all day, eehheehehehhhwahhhh" Call him cocky, but he really is a lyrical genius. There's actual meaning in his lyrics and energy in his voice.

A song like this, that is so amazing, clever, well produced, and not just that, but also legitimately powerful, makes the recent developments surrounding Kanye's current actions all the more disheartening. Kanye is a legitimately talented musician, but despite that I think it's safe to say that he's hit a new low and it makes me worry about the future of his music and his life as a whole.

This abulm is arguably top 3 if not number 1 hip hop abulm of all time. What I love about kanye's music is that he makes timeless music. U can literally take any abulm and place it in amy time in hip hop and it's a contender for AOTY. U can also take 1 song of your choosing off any abulm he's made.make a 12 song abulm and it can be abulm of the year. At any time in hip hop. What other artist can you do that with their whole body of work?
