The fast rapping came from Islanders from either, the Caribbean or Jamaica. The style evolved over time. Twista even said, once he looked into the style, he found out it existed before any of them were rapping. Before Bone was known, there was this group from California named, Freestyle Fellowship who was out before Bone. They harmonized similar to how Bone does, but it's not a one for one match. The song most go to from F.F. is a song called Mary. Krayzie sounds just like one of the members from that group. Bizzy did an interview on the subject of who inspired who. Bone didn't invent the style. They just added to it like Twista, and other artist, while thinking they originated it.
