He is so incredibly human and yet almost something new. Obviously he’s human, but he’s also freed himself from superficiality. He is Ye, something new and free of boundary. And it sounds so cringe typin out, but idk Ye is a shining example that sometimes you can put yourself or others on a pedestal and respect them for doing their great things. And doing that in itself can be a great thing. We can be great just through our humanity.

There is a cryptic message and story in this song, that attribute to the sexual abuse Nicki's niece had to endure in the hands of her stepfather(Nickis brother) in the verse "she got the scars they serve as reminders blood still on her pajamas" in the court trial against Gelani, the girls stained pajama was used as prime evidence in the rape case, it was a mixture of her blood and his semen/DNA. They also performed a rape test after that violent night which proved that she was raped, the "scars" in the lyrics. "plotting..scheming to defend all of your Violent nights" refers to his defense against witness testimony. Witness statements from her brother; he would often see gelani entering his sisters bedroom in the middle of the night while everybody else was asleep and would leave a long while later. "Promise me you will see" = Swear on oath as witness in court. "thankyou for all of the heroes of the night" her brother is a hero, he defended his sister on one occasion against gelani. He had her captive in the basement with the lights off one night as he was abusing her. Her brother walked in and gelani threatened him to keep quiet about the situation, was the hero of the night.. "the lie is wearing off" that night he got caught red handed and that pajama the little girl was wearing that night was the evidence that put him behind bars. No lie could get him out of that one. Kanye is a genius for this one I have to give it to him he even got Nicki Minaj on the track. Its astonishing that not much people read between the lines, kanye also made it personal for his Daughter, for a man who has Daughters he feels the pain that happened to this young girl. Niggas is monsters...

Different angle.....I might be way off but has anyone ever wondered what 070 Snake's meant by her lyrics. I have a theory......070 Shake is a lesbian woman, Maybe she's not referring to domestic violence but rather to her battle as coming out as a lesbian woman. Listen to it from that lense.....

This song is breathtaking. The lyrics, the message is very deep. The part that struck me the most is the music portion of it. The chord progression struck a chord in me that made me think of some special moments people in my life. The chord changes from :36 to 1:09 made me cry honestly because my best friend William "Billy" Warren Wilkins taught me this progression when I first started playing piano. It gave me cills and I rewind this part 53 times and played with it. He would play progressions like this and I would just listen and be mesmerized. Deep dark chords but so beautiful. I know he was playing from a different place because he was smiling and at ease when he would play. When he got off they keys he would be so shy and scared of the world. He was by best friend and I miss him so much. I hope my hands and mind can be blessed like my friend. I can't wait to see you again and the ones who are not with me anymore. Thank you for the reminder Kanye and I pray that you defeat what your going through and keep using music as your vessel for comfort. I know you don't know me but I hope this reaches you. If no, I hope it strikes someone else. All music is real but there are some artist and songs that can take you to a place when your real with yourself. That is what music is about. Everyone express themselves different ways and this is yours just like my friend. Take it back to the basics when things become too much Kanye. Anyone else revisiting this after Kanye's rally speech talking about North? Puts some of his "crazy" words into perspective. Wish people would listen to his points instead of just saying he's a celebrity acting stupid & crazy.
@Vyxia4 жыл бұрын
tbh he has good points but the way he expresses it just makes him seem stupid and dumb to others. He should really improve on how to put things across more clearly.
@Vyxia4 жыл бұрын
@Sydney Shea Just because he has bi polar doesn't mean his views should be disregarded. He's still a human regardless of whether or not he has mental illness. Grow up.
@Vyxia4 жыл бұрын
@Sydney Shea Right, you just said it out of no where so ofc I wouldn't know what you meant without context. He has bipolar but he can still learn to improve sharing his views more clearly even if it's just a little bit.

3:23 The songs end with a spoken message by nicki minaj, if u recall, my beautifull dark twisted fantasy started with an spoken message by nicki minaj too, and that album was all about kanye's bragadocious lifestyle, how he been with multiple women, bitches, heartbreak etc, but from mbdtf to yeezus, tlop, and Ye, kanye has been growing, He build a family a brand etc, this spoken message at the end of the song i think simbolizes how this chapter of kanye's life is over, how this part of him that started with him being arrogant, saying he is a god, saying he made taylor famous ends now, with him showing apreciation for his daughter saying how much he will protect her and how much he wants her to grow and to be carefull, it doesnt end with him Raping about his fantasies, being a god, or His bragadocious lifestyle, it ends with him talking about being a father.

i felt that. even though i'm grown in my 30s, if i had listened to this while i was 13 i would've without a doubt cried to this song. because even at 13, thinking about these things would make me emotional, and for good reason man. your womenfolk (family) are so precious to you. they're something to nurture, and their potential corruption from societal norms & influences would make me want to cry all night. and that's the truth.
