My wife and I suffered two miscarriages within 2 years, but good news, our little baby boy is due December 21st! I’m 33 years old and I’m going to be a dad! This song has got me through the rough nights of trying to help comfort and be strong for my wife while I’m also hurting inside. This song has given me hope when I didn’t have much. I pray for those who are also struggling with infertility because it’s an issue that is very common, yet rarely talked about. I pray for you. Don’t give up.

Обиднее всего, что убивают свои же, то есть, ведь афроамериканцев убивали и делали рабами люди с другим цветом кожи, другим мышлением, другой расы, а мой народ убивают свои же казахи, это такое испытание, о господь, дай мне это пережить. the music video doesn't get talked about enough--the symbolism is overwhelming. What sticks out to me most is kim--how she walks a full circle, from darkness to light, eventually back to ye. with her in white and him in black, it mirrors their wedding day outfits. kim had already filed for divorce at this point and ye knew she was leaving him. but with the wedding outfits, with kim walking from darkness to light (almost like reversing time--back from the rockiness of marriage into the early days of infatuation and joy), it feels like ye was trying to bring his marriage back full circle (literally)--closing it the way it begun.

The house is typically a symbol for transformation of the psyche. I am no expert, but the idea is something like recovering from a mental breakdown by becoming stronger and more astute. I think, at least partly, he's talking about never giving up hope, which is obviously directly paralleled with faith in Christ. Just finding ways to keep moving forward, realizing we can withstand any amount of suffering or evil in the world. I think this ties in a lot with the rest of his album, like in "heaven and hell", I seem to remember a lot of the latter part embedded in there.

I love how this song portrays the essence of human nature: the fears, the dreams, the emotions, how we sometimes wish everything was different or we didn’t even exist. How we want to change but don’t know how and keep looking for answers that never come and how we’re the only ones able to find those answers and walk our path with faith and the help of God. Many times we forget what makes us human: the pain, the scars, the memories, the fear of being alone, fear of not being enough... I think this song describes it pretty well. Probably, one of the best in Kanye’s career.

this song is powerful in Ye's discography like few others are. I frequently find myself moved to tears by this track. It's a rare moment of Ye accepting all the hardship in his life, accepting that he's struggling, accepting that he has issues, and yet despite all that, pushing through it all due to a combination of his tenacity and the solace his faith gives him. This track feels like Ye FINALLY putting his mother to rest after blaming himself for years for her passing. it feels like an ending to this erratic and manic chapter in his life. Like a new beginning. It's beautiful, Ye. Thank you for making this masterpiece.

My soul cries out, "Hallelujah" And I thank God for saving me I, I thank God Here go all your problems again (I thank God) Three, two, one, you're pinned (I thank God) Uncle, now he back in the pen' Auntie shut down again Did she finally come to life? Ever wish you had another life? Ever wish you had another life? Ever wish you had another life? Don't you wish the night would go numb? I've been feeling low for so long I ain't had a high in so long I been in the dark for so long Night is always darkest 'fore the dawn Gotta make my mark 'fore I'm gone I don't wanna die alone, I don't wanna die alone I get mad when she gone Mad when she home, sad when she gone Mad when she home, sad when she gone (Lose it right now, the spirit that wants to run) Floating on a silver lining (in the name of Jesus) Yeah, you know where to find me, riding on a silver lining And my God won't deny me, tell the Devil, "Get behind me" All the stars are aligned, lift me up every time You know exactly where to find me (Hallelujah, thank you Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah) Did those ideas ever really come to life? Make it all come to life, make it all come to life Praying for a change in your life Well, maybe it's gon' come tonight Sadness setting in again Three, two, one, you're pinned Uncle right back in the pen' Tell me, how auntie been? Took your thoughts and penciled 'em in Should've wrote 'em down in pen And maybe they'd come to life And maybe they'd come to life Sadness setting in again Three, two, one, you're pinned Uncle right back to the pen' Tell me, how auntie been? Thoughts, you had penciled 'em in Probably should've wrote 'em in pen And maybe they'd come to life They could finally come to life They could finally come to life You know where to find me, they cannot define me So they crucify me, how so fazed when I leave? Come and purify me, come and sanctify me You the air that I breathe, the ultra-ultralight beam Bought a gift to Northie, all she want was Nikes This is not about me, God is still alive, so I'm free Floating on a silver lining, floating on a silver lining So when I'm free, I'm free

I wouldn’t be mad if Kanye retires from music after this album, he’s set a legacy never seen before in this century. Honestly arguably the best artist of this century.

He won’t that’s for sure, he’s probably gonna try to stay relevant so his shoe company can succeed

This would be something legendary to retire on. I'm chuckling how North would be bopping to this.

I'm a wife a mother also Christian so I admit I could be very strict with my son we listen to your album together boy he poured his soul into this album I believe that God blessed Kanye every step of the way while making this album you did an exceptional job continue praising God everyday every way you can you will be blessed continue praising His holy name God is the most powerful thank you for your music and sharing your talent with us

I'm Sorry that i gotta tell you but stop limiting what or what music your son listens to. It's very harmful, music Is a form of art and expression and even though sometimes It contains explicit content, It doesn't mean that your son Is gonna be a criminal or some sort of. Kanye's music includes LOTS of very explicit songs, this album too, but as you can see there's Always some very beautiful messages and songs about everything in our journey
