When this song came out I was so deep in a self destructive behavior, with only hopes and dreams for the future. I kept my vision and never lost focus on God tho. Here we are almost a decade and a half later, I beat heroin addiction, stopped stripping, moved out the city, repaired relationships with my family and loved ones, got a stable career, and started a family with my childhood best friend. This just hits different today for me🙏 God is good and this song is a soundtrack to my testimony!!
