These hair tutorials are really amazing satisfying best of all relaxing as well, these hairstyles are awesome, I don't think these will be possible for me to try in my hair as I've got fine medium length hair

I’m sure it’ll work if you have long hair as well!! You just need to wrap your hair around the stick a couple times, and it’s designed to still have hair outside of the stick, like in a pony tail or something.

That will not hold good, with or without a hair tie. Because when twisting the hair that way around and clockwise, you have twist until you can pull the hair to the right side and then insert the stick from right above to shove it through the hair towards bottom left. then it will hold good. Also this is a thin metal stick - not really holding good in straight slippery hair like this. The hair tie here will definitely add stability or use a thicker wooden stick, which has more hold in the hair also.

Surprisingly it held mine until I went back home around 11pm. At first she did not use a tie and i felt it was too loose. I told her it was too loose and she used tie.

These hair ornaments seem great until you get home and realize they don't work. They hold until you take 3 steps...

If it doesn’t hold you’re probably not doing it right. When done properly your hair will stay even when it’s vigorously shaken

I think there're many ways to pin your hair & many different kind of pins too. My friend's hair reachs her knee but she still uses hair pin to school

Hi guys! I find the hairpin styles so beautiful and elegant! I'm new to this so I was just wondering...would it be okay for me to try this out and use hair sticks on a daily basis even if I'm not from that culture? I would like to try it out because I think they're really pretty, cuz I'm afraid of being culturally disrespectful so I thought I'd ask here lol. Please let me know what you think guys! I think you can. Because as an Asian, I believe all of us love it when we see others embracing our cultures. Currently in the middle of trying this out even though I am not Japanese and this is so much harder than it looks haha. Also if I said anything wrong forgive me because I am a minor.

Honestly I do not see anything wrong with it. A hair stick is just like any other hair accessory there is.

I have been growing my hair for almost 3 years now and I also decided to get myself a hair stick :) I find it painful to loose my hair to a rubber every day :/ and Kanzashi do look very elegant :) with warm salutations from Poland :)
