I was introduced to Kitaro by a crewman I sailed with on container ships - 1987-1989...I cant remember his name , but I'm eternally grateful...this tune brought me down on an airplane in a storm some years ago , maybe 2014, after 3 tries at landing at Glasgow airport. With this loud in my earphones, I wasn't afraid of dying....so peaceful...graceful, and the way to go.

thx for making my earlier comment as "highlighted-comment"...did'nt ecpect that...i listened again and again and truly enjoyed yr screen-play, and of course, some old clips from that tv series resurface in my memory....such as the discovery of a mummy in the desert, even to the crew who filmed, were a big news; the wall paintings inside many buddhist's hidden cliff-hole , and the last one show, they arrived Rome....Thank you again Kaoru !

Such a beautiful setting you have created to showcase Kitaro's theme song for the magnificent documentary The Silk Road. I saw it in the 80's and never forgot the music nor the documentary. It opened my interest and love for the far east and the beautiful history of the lands of the silk road. I was fascinated by the music and the scenery and rich and diverse history of these lands. Kitaro grasped the vastness of the lands! Thank you!
