I would. It's not much of an advantage. When would that 1-2 inch of peripheral view ever realistically help you? You look at specific choke points or spots. You have teammates to help you look. You can turn your head to check over spots. The difference from 1.6, CSS, and GO are minuscule, or non existent in what would effect muscle memory.

why are they playing on 4:3 aspect ratio on widescreen monitors? Cant see any advantages not using the extra fov.

NiP is the best team ever in cs go

The players are veterans; they've used 4:3 for 5+ years at least. The extra fov changes the sensitivity, and thus breaks years of muscle memory. It's not worth adjusting too, especially when you have dependable teammates.

Hmmm, I thought something like that, still think its kinda wimpy, lots of pro players switch games, and get to a pro level at another game. They make the transition from 1.6 to css, to go, that must be some re ajusting too right? Wonder if they would stick their entire lives to not making any changes to their setup just for the sake of muscle memory.

Skylex The game was so much simpler and I really like the old versions of Nuke, Mirage, Cache and inferno

Simpler yes and i miss more fps but this game was full of bugs... You might think nowdays cs is full of bugs but back then there was even more! Broken hitboxes, CZ, AWP, tec9 etc etc

Skylex I personally like the old AWP speed and I would've enjoyed using the CZ when it was still good.
