The acting was subpar, the story line was unoriginal, the theme and topical content of the movie was shoved down your throat too much (themes like homosexuality, use of the N word, youth culture etc.). The #1 corniest thing to me was the use of the N word. They really wanted to make sure it was known how flexible and applicable it was to people who were of color but it actuality it was so corny and farthest from the truth. I feel like that was done to strike a cord with kids my age but it was really lame. The movie really relied on it's cameos to hold it's weight like Zoe Kravitz and ASAP Rocky but they did nothing for me. I could say so much but you probably don't care.. On the flip side though, the cinematography of the movie was really enjoyable.
