Some of the insurance companies here in the Philippines will recover the amount of repair from the party at fault, whether you have insurance or not.

If that is the case, the insurance company will not respond to your claim as this is no peril to cover, but if your car has been submerged in flood water, you may file a claim if your insurance policy has "acts of nature" coverage. subject to actual inspection and thorough assessment to prove that the claim is due to flooding or not.

I used to work for a third-party company (Car Insurance in Australia) ang ganda lang, kasi pag nabangga ka, and if your vehicle is not drivable after the accident, the one who's at fault (and their insurance) will pay for your car replacement (rent a car) while your vehicle is being fixed, do we have that kind of coverage as well?

Philippine insurance companies do not have the same benefits; that's the internal agreement of both parties involved.

Hi Lea, you need a Comprehensive Car Insurance to cover your own car damage or the third-party's car. The CTPL covers only bodily injury in case you hit a person.

Like what was said in the video, CTPL will not cover damaged property; it purely covers third-party bodily injuries or deaths. You may get comprehensive insurance if you want that coverage.

YUNG SA MOM KO 1YEAR AND 3MONTHS bago niya Nakuha ang nature claimed niya. Every now and then kailangan mong mag follow-up at pabalik-Balik kapa sa office nila. ANG SAKLAP.
