Keep it up with the good work you are doing Arap Cheison. Dr. Sambu and Chemagar are jewels and true legends. I am amazed by the linguistic link and I can now see that the European languages borrowed from our language. Examples especially in German Kennen - angen (verb roots gen- ken) Laufen - labat ( German conjugation er läuft) Gehen- ngebe ( ich gehe - gebe) Lachen- rariei, Kirche - koros Ich möchte - amache (möchten- maget) Ich weine - awache Ich spiele Fußball- apire mpiret Chang ng'alechotok ngeweny orit

The true essence of life is a true reconciliation of one's heritage, religion and the future direction. This work to me is not only educative but also entertaining. I am forever grateful to the trio for the work well done. You are true heroes.

Very fantastic discussion. It is interesting to note the Kalenjins “might” have come from Egypt being a very organized society. People who think Christianity is a foreign/western thing should do more research. I also note in the literature, Egyptians were practicing philosophy, science and math before the Greeks, “A History of the Modern World (1984)”

I am highly interested in this question by Prof. Cheison, “Is there a contradiction between the original Nandi Kapkoros and the current Christianity? And what does it take to revive the original Nandi Kapkoros ? “

Kongoi, kongoi missing Araap Chesoi,Dr Sambu and pastor for this discussion of reconnecting current, old kalenjin way of life, ancient Egypty and Christianity as we know it now.It as enabled me connect some dots i had came about during my own reading of ancient Egyptian philosophy which is very technical, i came along dr araap sambu's work just late last year!. Before that i Was auto piloting alone through internet with a strong desire to know more about the true knowledge ancient Egyptians had. May be i was guided by our ancestors!!.

When reading up on the holocaust the phrase 'arbeit macht frei'-work makes free-surprised me.I was absorbed by the word 'arbeit' which means job in German. In Northern Kalenjin ie Marakwet 'beit' is job.In fact there's a an idiom 'po chi beit' which can be loosely translated as 'one is to work'.In that idiom we have a Germanic word 'beit' as well as Semitic one 'chi, chich'which is Hebrew for man 'ish'.In my view the Kalenjin people should be proud that they are here at all,in that they were at the anvil of powerful empires-assyrian,Egyptian,Babylonia etc.

While it may be true that Kalenjin people have many Egyptian influences, the people are clearly Israelite.Specifically the tribe of Naphtali who in the Jewish Talmud are said to have been great runners.Again if you read between the lines the Messiah-who is Judean ie Davidic-was nonetheless expected to come from the tribe of Naphtali. That is the reason it is said that Jesus began his ministry in Capernaum 'Kapnaum' which was in the region of Naphtali for the prophesy in Isaiah 9 to come to pass. But there is a problem-the Naphtalites had long been carted off to exile by the Assyrians. Now there's a hint as to where Naphtali would end up,in the blessing of Moses,Deut 33 Naphtali is said to possess:'the West and the South',it is hard to interpret that prophecy because the interpreters give it a euro-centric view. The obvious interpretation is that Naphtali would end up in the South ie Africa which Isaiah further reckons to be a land of darkness and shadow of death.Jews argue that their Messiah hasn't come and I agree and argue further that the 'one to whom it belongs' ie Messiah will come from Kalenjin land and his name 'El-Gibbor' in fact doesn't have a Hebrew equivalent but has a Kalenjin one.'El',which is God's name and 'Kibbor',Kebbor' Kaibor, talking about the successes of the Messiah.

The 'r' sound is clearly retained in Marakwet my mother tongue. So that evil for instance which both the Marakwet and Hebrew render as 'ra' with what it entails ie the many donts in the Bible. You must know too that the seer,Samuel in the Bible was known as 'Roeh' which comes from 'ro' ie see.
