I'm picking up a CL450 on Saturday. If I had known about this bike from the start....No paper oil filter, no paper air filter. The sounds is awesome on either model. The 450 is the only one to get or at least admire.

I rode my 1970 CB450 from Florida to California to Iowa in summer of 2020. absolute unit of a bike. I'm almost 300lbs, and I had 80 lbs of gear with me. three oil changes, two chains, and one rear tire later... I didn't even have an electric starter until I went through Oregon on the return trip. I rolled into Cedar rapids Iowa to meet my father for the first time, on one cylinder, leaking oil from the clutch push rod boot like it was non existent, a blown head gasket and various other things. I tore down that motor last month expecting to find it had grenaded itself. nope. re-leveled the heads and found out that it didn't even need a cam chain or rollers. everything was as beautiful as if it had just come from the factory. keep in mind, I would sometimes put a dubious mix of light and heavy oil in it when I couldn't find the right stuff. thing will do 70 on the freeway with absolutely no compression on one cylinder. I will always love this bike. when Honda built these, they built them to last. I'm picking up a second one in less than 8 hours.

I relate to this so hard with my first bike, my 73’ CB500. I was rough on that thing but it never let me down.

@@cesarmarquez7120 unfortunately that second 450 I had picked up... blew the headgasket in the same place as the last one, but I only got 140 miles out of it. the problem with these bikes it you gotta pull the motor to do the gasket.

Great bike. Sounds amazing. Not a bad deal for under 5 grand. I'd take this one over the blue CB550 Kaplan is also selling right now. I like the colors and style better. These 70's Honda's are awesome, I just bought on old CB750 that runs great.

Y Wear a helmet. Had one of these years ago. Loved it. Passed out doing 90 mph by a Kawasaki Z1 on the way to Bakersfield, so a long time ago.

I have one in the garage next to my GSXR-1300 Never bothered cuz I thought it looked dorky. But hearing it is cool! Love the sound!!!! Gonna get her on the road for beer-runs😎 But Your’s is miss’in rear turn signals?🤔

great shape or its age i have had 8 or ten of them never ever did i have one that was bad they all were fast from 0 to 80 they were the boss someone will have a dam good bike i would give it at least a 98

My CB 450 was quieter and had a speedometer reads 140 mph. I have had it 115 and chickened out. My brother broke it. He said he almost crapped his pants. I asked to race a 750. Told me no. Good, I do not need two bikes, I told him.
