Also I think there is better & safer way to flambé the cake than how they did it ! One bowl Chocolate Cake Dry Ingredients 3/4 cup All purpose flour (Maida) 2 tbsp Cocoa powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 pinches baking powder 2 pinches of salt 1/2 cup sugar (100 g) (measure regular sugar & then powder it) Wet Ingredients 1/2 cup water 3 tbsp Oil 1 & half tsp vinegar 1/2 tsp vanilla essence Optional Additional flavour - 1 tsp Coffee powder / 1/4 tsp orange zest Chocolate Ganache - 100 g Chocolate 75 g Fresh Cream 1 tsp Butter Melt chocolate & add fresh cream along with butter & mix it well. For Flambe Use Brandy , Simply warm thr brandy slightly on a laddle or a pan & set it on fire. Then pour it on the cake, all the alcohol will evaporate & just the flavours stay in the cake You can also use Whiskey, Rum, Cognac or even just vodka ! 🌟 Vishesh Tippani - Bake the cake in a pre heated oven & in the middle rack - Flambé the cake safely Baking Tips - 1. Use standard baking measuring cups to measure everything. (1 cup = 240 ml) 2. If using regular sugar, first measure it & then powder. 3. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. 4. Add the water, vinegar, vanilla essence & oil. 5. Mix the batter till it becomes smooth. 6. Immediately pour in a baking tin lined with parchment paper or greased & dusted with flour. 7. The oven must be pre heated for about 10 mins at 180 degrees C. 8. Bake the cake in the middle rack for about 35 mins. Remove it 9. Cool the cake and unmould. 10. If baking the cake in a cooker or a Kadhai, add 1 cup salt at bottom. Place a 2 inch stand inside & preheat on medium flame for 10 mins & then place the cake tin. 11. Cover it and cook on high for 10 mins and then sim flame for 30 mins. 12. Do not oven the oven or kadhai when the cake is baking. 13. You can frost the cake with chocolate ganache or enjoy it as it is. You can also add nuts to the batter.
