Both father and son were the best motorcycle jumpers that ever lived. IMO the Grand Canyon and the Caesar’s Palace jumps were his signature jumps.

"I'm not the greatest daredevil in the world. I'm the father of the greatest daredevil in the world." Truely he was the greatest daredevil in the world. Whether its jumping over the Grand Canyon or from one building to another even an on coming train head on. Robbie Knievel made the impossible possible. Even becoming the first man to clear the fountains at Caesars Palace that's something you can't take away from him. 🇺🇲 😭 😥 🥺 🤧 😢 🏁

This is another great son of Butte, America. We are proud of you, Robbie. I met Robbie around 55 years ago in Butte. His family lived a few lots away from my Uncle, Aunt & cousins. We were all playing at the bike trails, top of Parrot Street by the swamp. Robbie showed up on the first motorcycle his father had given him. A lot of good jumps on those trails. Four of us hit the dirt, side by side, like cord wood on top of the biggest jump. Yes he did! He sped up that jump and easily cleared all of us. We were just kidds around 10 years old, all of us. Except Robbie, I think he was around 8. He came from good stock. Linda, Tracy & Kelly, Happy St. Pats day. Hope you're all well.

I was at a bar in Austin Tx one night. The place was empty. This guy comes over and ask if I wanted to meet Robbie Knievel. Of course I said yea! He was so down to earth talked about leaving skin on the landing ramp in Hawaii. Just a big smile and friendly guy. Happy landings Robbie and good tail winds.

Because of him an his dad i tried a jump in front of my cousin on a bicycle. I was maybe 10. We built a ramp an i went down hill flew off the Ramp, i crashed an had such a bruise on my inner thigh from the seat. But my cousin chicken out. Good memory, an im sure the Knievel's inspired many to try things no matter how impossible it may seem, and if you fail, you at least tried, and you find away to pick yourself back up again, and to Find some courage to go on and to try an keep pushing.
