Yeah it really is ridiculous smh. They share one look (which lacked chemistry and sparks) and that's all it takes to put them together while Kara and Lena (whose chemistry is literally off-the-charts insane) spent YEARS gazing at one another in a way that seems far from platonic and yet they're still not together. It just proves that if Lena was a man they would've been canon and end up together because all it takes is ONE LOOK for the showrunners to put Kara w/ a guy smh. Hell even Kara/James had more buildup in Season 1 than Kara/Mon-El and Kara/William put together. Ironically JQ thought that "two noble characters doesn't make for a dramatically rich storyline". So Karolsen didn't make for a "dramatically rich" story but Karamel did? Supercorp gaze at one another longer than necessary and it's seen as platonic but when Kara/William share ONE LOOK, it's seen as romantic? The double standards is alarming and hypocritical smh.

@@gg_germangaga4961 So true! Honestly I think the LGBTQ community/fans makes up the majority of the SG fandom and most people are watching hoping to see Supercorp to finally become canon. Even people who don't even watch this show heard of Supercorp and wonders why they're not canon yet. That being said, regardless of shipping, I'm sure the majority of us also wants to see good storytelling, good character development and good representation. But sadly currently all those things are lacking particularly for the female characters. How can CW/showrunners/writers expect us to accept whatever bit of representation we have w/ Dansen and Nia but they barely give them a proper story or any development or screentime? Alex is the second main character but when you compare her to Sara from LoT, she isn't being properly utilized. When you compare Dansen or Sanvers to Avalance, Alex's romances sadly doesn't get the proper development, focus and screentime that Avalance do. Supercorp who is a non-canon ship, has loads of chemistry, years worth of buildup and story, and yet they're not together. Brainia had a WHOLE YEAR worth of buildup before they finally got together and it was done in such an organic and meaningful way yet the writers broke them up for contrived, dramatic purposes. And CW wonders why we're upset by the lack of representation? Smh.

Ok, now I have seen both videos (Lena's and Kara's) and I can say that I was wrong. I thought that the way that Lena looks at Kara was more intense... but after this I can assure that Kara has a more intense look towards Lena. She is constantly checking her up and keeps staring to her eyes, like if she could understand Lena by just looking through her eyes. Maybe it was because of the slow motion, but wow, that is intense Kara/Supergirl. I hope they can be cannon starting next season, it is totally possible.

And, clearly, Clark saw that look. So, "The Show" made two clear choices in that take. 1) Kara looses herself and forgets how not to stare. 2) They have a reliable witness to Kara's loss of control, who turns away, puts head down and slightly smiles. Airing that edit make it "canon" that Kara looked lovestruck and Clark saw it, but nothing was spoken, giving them plausible deniabilty. Meeting Lena Luthor changed Kara Zor-El's life!

I think that matches perfectly the underestimated non-said real and existing subplot underlining the canon and woooooooohhhhhhh it is getting insane the way these two interact, how beautifully they match and if not for the producers, then at least so should the writers have the freedom to intertwine some of the lines for us, in canon, as a source premiere for our bubbly and undying imagination. Make an edit with season 6, you will see the relationship culminating in the shadows of the others. Trully. Supercorp is real, even in the nonsaid, nonshown and yet, powerfully there. It's not Melissa or Katie alone, it's the magic they instill in their precious characters that makes them true partners in the story of Supergirl, so real. And - supergay. YAYYYYYY!!!

Is it just me or Kara looks at Lena just likevthe she looks at Mon-El. This kind of gaze is not love. It never is. It's more than just love. A sign of a trilion-year entwined liaison, it's consistent, firm, and invincible. Sometimes, it's even more arduous to find an earnest and stalward friend than a lover. I love all the hurdles and obstacles they've through. What an amazing story the writers have written, and an stellar representation of Both Kaite and Melissa.
