@@Faux_Sunlight From my understanding of speedcore, it essentially means that a song’s average BPM is over 300. When a song’s average BPM goes over 1,000 BPM, it becomes supertone, then after about 10,000 BPM, a song becomes hypertone, which contains some of the fastest songs ever made (they are so fast that you cannot hear individual beats). Also, though I don’t know how to explain it very well, there is a major difference between DnB and this, which is a lot closer to hardcore (not the metal sub-genre version, the EDM version). Hopefully someone with more production experience than me can explain the difference to both of us, since all I know is that both genres sound very different. Also, EDM in general can have some fairly nuanced sub-genres, not just Dubstep, which is essentially a genre in EDM, or at least that’s how I think of it. I will also mention that what a song falls into (genre-wise) is always up for debate. I am just putting forth my thoughts on what I think the song falls into. Sorry if my speech may come off not like that.
