It's a fun little film that sits in the middle of two climaxes. Movie 5 and 7 were really intense and relatively dark, so movie 6 was a really nice change of pace. Weak story-wise was the point all along.

​@@hardlightdemon8523 That's right, with approximate 270 pages, it should be a 90 mins or 2 hours movie instead. The movie butchered my favourite antagonist Kurogiri Satsuki, and even cut off Azaka's comparision of him and Mikiya, which, in my opinion, make her feelings toward Mikiya clearer and more understandable.

@@vietlinhnguyen8387 True, God's Word is quite an interesting character and it's a shame the movie didn't gave him justice. They even downplayed his Unified Language by showing that you can make it useless by simply covering your ears which is nonsense, as it's quite literally the equivalent of defending yourself from MEODP by wearing a random armor. This chapter also had important character growth for Shiki, but it was executed in the worst possible way. The novel is also way darker while the movie is more light-hearted, and i could understand that they wanted to tone it down, but that's not really an excuse for removing so many important things. I don't understand why this adaption was so bad, because the other chapters are relatively well done (except Paradox Spiral). Also yeah, this chapter is actually really long in the novel, even longer than chapter 7 if i'm not mistaken.

If only they had come up with SOME excuse for that flower... like, for instance, I read that those things aren't trully fairies, they're spirits that assumed the form of faries but are essentially different beings. They could've said that their familiars of some sort and that flower was the "device" needed to control them. However, it was only lending some of its powers to Misaya Ouji, as the real person controlling it was the film's main villain. (forgot the dude's name, that teacher with the glasses that looks like Mikiya) That's a pretty backwater explanation, I'll admit, but I would've taken that over not knowing what the heck that flower was supposed to be. Oh well, guess Nasu just likes to leave some things in mystery. Edit: MY GOD, I MUST BE SLEEPY!! WHY THE HELL DID I TYPE *OKITA SOUJI* INSTEAD OF *MISAYA OUJI?!?* D8 (oh well, fixed it now. phew!)

Well, it IS th eone movie with the showdown between magi. (granted, Cornelius wasn't allowed to do shit and he's supposed to be considered top tier) -__-' I loved seeing Araya and Touko. Those two are *fearsome* opponents! I can't imagine other "magus characters" like Tohsaka Tokiomi, Kayneth Archibald and Tohsaka Rin having much of a chance at defeating those two. (maybe Araya, but you'd have to get him out of that fucking hotel first!) I can picture Kiritsugu being able to kill them, but even then, I think it's a risky bet. Araya Souren and Aozaki Touko are just on a whole other level! Every movie had its epic moments and epic characters, mine will always be the third movie and Asagami Fujino, but Spiral Paradox is really one of my top favourites due to dwellving deeply into how magi through the world opperate for their own agenda. Even Touko herself is terrifying, just look at her workshop! (urgh!)

The fairies are the lowest of the lowest in the fairie hierarchy. She can naturally produce fire without magecrafr but it's to weak so Touko gave her a mystic code that enhances her fire output.
