In all explanations of the sense, We have literally (more than others, myself included) watched their channel grow right in front of our eyes, we (at least me) honestly didn’t think they would grow as big as they are now, and even if their channel grew to where it is now, they are both incredibly humble and down to earth, giving the nice aura about them as being relatable, it’s great that they’re both so down to earth and humble about themselves and everything

My best friend and I did this in 2019 when I was moving from Vancouver (my hometown) to Toronto for university. Let me tell you, this trip looks very different if you do it on the cheapest possible ticket… 4 days of being crammed in a car with a dozen other people and 4 nights sleeping in what were essentially reclining airplane seats. Still one of my best travel experiences!
@TwistyTrav

I took the Via rail in 2019 too, but I went from Toronto to Vancouver. Being crammed together was the best part. You're forced to talk to people you normally wouldn't be & it really gives you an opportunity to get to know them.

I took this train back in 2019 in the Coach (economy) section, and let me tell just say you're missing out on a hell of an experience. Sure, you don't have a private room with any real accommodations... BUT the people you meet & the stories you make with them, when you're forced to spend a long time in such close proximity to complete strangers are truly priceless. By far, that was the best part for me. Its also a bit satisfying to know that 1st class passengers aren't allowed in the front, because neither are economy class passengers allowed any further back past the 1st casual dining car. Economy passengers don't have access to the fine dining area at all, even if they were willing to pay. So you're forced to bring 4 days worth of non-perishable snacks, or just purchase every meal. You also don't have any access to shower facilities & the one bathroom is shared among the entire economy car.

@OhHeyItsShey

Across county generally means from one large city on the coast to the next large county on the other side. Just like how across America is New York to Seattle even though there are several states East of New York. This applies to any county, not just northern America. Like how "across Italy" is Rome to Venice even though there are many towns North of Venice and South of Rome.

I love you guys, I really love the conversation around mental health and normalizing therapy. However, I REALLY wish you would stop promoting Better Help. It is probably one of the sneakiest, worst services in the world. They’ve been sharing private information for money, they treat their therapists horribly and that leads to worse treatment for patients. Therapy is super important and necessary, Better Help is a parasite of a company and I cannot believe that after all they’ve done they’re still getting KZbinrs agreeing to promote them. Please please consider cutting ties with them. I have so much respect for you guys and I know others do too and I hate to think that people are willingly giving this company money because of that respect for you. Thank you for the consideration.

those views were absolutely gorgeous! a blanket of snow really just adds to the already beautiful sights!! also that viewing train-car was amazing; i can imagine just chilling there, reading or napping ^^ the food looked so delicious (having carrot cake and falafel cravings now). also enjoy that you two post everything in the sense of the "awkward" coach-only train-car part and the technical stuff like the shower buttons! it feels like we're almost living it with you when we get all the real parts too!!

I’ve subscribed to you guys for years and watched you religiously, which is why it’s so disappointing to see that you are selling your morals by continuing to accept sponsors from better help. There is no way you are oblivious to the exposure of the corruption of this company that has continued now for at least 5 years. They were legally proven and vindicated for selling users private information shared during therapy to advertisers for money, not to mention the neglect in hiring therapists, leading to very damaging behaviour from people dealing with those even on emergency hotlines. They are risking peoples lives and benefitting from their pain. Please stop accepting their bribes, I really don’t want to have to stop supporting you guys. At a minimum please really look into it yourselves first.

Kara, I’ve been watching yalls vids since the beginning is it different to not always have a Kara and Nate vid to watch. Duh! I love watching yall. But knowing you’re being healthy with yourself means everything and is way more important than making any vid. Also makes me go back and watch some of my favorite vids. Love yall

Here is my feedback. In the beginning you sold me on the idea that the Canadian train was better than Amtrak. But as soon as Nate said you guys paid $9k and you basically paid first class. I was disappointed and turn off the video. I was really looking forward to this video after the previous one. I feel that there should not be comparison and just let each be what they are.
@derian1434

There’s far more to Canada east of Toronto lol - also bizarre comparison of this and Amtrak if the price is astronomically more. Really miss the old Kara and Nate and this just solidifies it - they’re travelling for content, not for enjoyment and it shows. Can’t wait to see what the next first class airline seat or ultra-luxury hotel room is 🤪
@kfu1234
@kfu1234 6 ай бұрын
So true! It would be so nice if they showed the destinations rather than the luxury travel to get to the destinations. So many amazing sights and eats they could’ve documented in Vancouver and Toronto but instead showed how to use the light switches and shower on the train. I miss the old travel vlogs that inspired so much travel in the past

@@jaywinner328The train was $10k+ more - and it wasn’t even a good train, it was an old Via train with nothing impressive, all of what you see once you get past Banff is just flat boring land lol - I’d much rather see the destination frankly. Do not care about ultra-luxury methods of getting to places, ultra-luxury luxury places to stay in these places and/or ridiculous “challenges” - I just miss their old videos

Vancouver Island has some of the most beautiful views I've ever seen.
