I love the tradition of Nate making Kara coffee in the morning and he always always always tells her her coffee is ready with a kiss. It's so sweet and I hope they do that until their dying day. It's the simplest, sweetest gesture that goes so much farther than fancy gifts or expensive stays. I love love love it. And, for the record, this particular stay had me glued to the screen....it's so immersive! What a wonderful experience!

The crack and popping you heard while underwater were pistol shrimp. We heard the same noise while living in our sailboat for two years. They are truly one of the most interesting and coolest creatures out there. They have one large claw that they use to snap which creates a bubble that shoots at its prey at the speed of a bullet and reaches temperatures almost as hot as the surface of the sun. 🤯 20:41

Sorry but that underwater Hotel is NOT the world's first. It is probably the world's first "luxury" underwater hotel though. The Jules Undersea Lodge in FL was opened in 1986, the Maldives underwater Hotel opened in 2005. Underwater Hotels 1: Utter Inn, Vasteras Sweden (the only one in a lake!) 2: Resorts World Sentosa Ocean Suites, Singapore (inside a gigantic aquarium) 3: Jules Undersea Lodge, Key Largo FL. It was originally an underwater research laboratory(you have to Scuba dive down to get into it, and all your food orders are delivered by a Scuba diver!) 4: Atlantis the Palm, Dubai UAE (also inside a gigantic aquarium) 5: Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, Rangali Maldives 6: The Manta Resort, Zanzibar Tanzania 7: ReefSuites, Airlie Beach Australia 8: Intercontinental Shanghai Wonderland, Shanghai China AND THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS ONE 9: THE LOVERS DEEP. It's an ACTUAL SUBMARINE HOTEL!! It goes 650 ft underwater and can be moored off the coast of St Lucia or by a sunken Battleship in the Red Sea!

Sadly, Kara and Nate do not inspire me as I can no longer relate to them.. Everything is so perfect , pricey, perfect, scripted... it is obvious that this has turned from a hobby into a business. Fun Fact! A lot of aquatic species are more active at night! Primarily because of both feeding opportunities and protection. Best time to go fishing is right at or after sunset! Many fishing operations know about this, so living in a coastal town, you'd see boats go out at sunset and come back at sunrise, unpack during the day and do it all over again. Though that could also just be my specific area, and of course it subject to change because of weather.
