My younger cousin started acting out when she moved to GA. She was being bullied because of the friends she made. She inherited her friend's bullies. She was fighting & grades dropped. From all A's to failing. She switched to online school and came to live with me in NC. She began thriving again. Her mother then enrolled her into our local high school. Made new friends and was attending school events. Sometimes, it is the environment and always feeling under attack. These lash out and don't know how to act because they dont know how to process their feelings. She is now 24 and doing so very well. She has 2 jobs and is working on opening her own business.

No matter how much a parent can love their child, parenting will never be easy, and I applaud the mom for trying her best. We get to breaking points and saying stuff we don't mean, but what counts is that we recognize it, apologize, and change. when a child's grade drops drastically, something is wrong and the mum tries what she thinks would help, but it doesn't, but she is still trying and that girl and mum are gonna be ok

My brothers all pitched in and bought me 2 dolls, and mom got me an easy bake oven. Although the happiest moment but still the saddest. Dad never showed. I'm 59 and to this day I still feel abandoned and unloved by him. Although, he popped up in and out of my life that one day set the tone. I still cry. So, I get how she feels. Dear sweet Jesus I’m going through this right now with my 14 year old daughter with the fighting and suspensions and this baby looks just like mine. Thank God she’s not smoking and having boys over but I’m trying my best! I also feel at my wits end! I’ve taken her devices. She wants to watch Baddies and loves tik tok so I took her devices. I step in to help her with her homework while still trying to give my younger daughter attention and time too but thankfully she’s a straight A student. My husband is a captain pilot away all week working so I’m basically a single mother when he’s away. Taking her privileges away is helping so far. My daughter just really wants to be so popular and accepted by everyone and make people think she’s hardcore. SMH I feel like it’s a generation thing. Taking devices away from my daughter humbles her and I hate that but that truly humbles her down some! She goes to church with me, we pray and everything but every time she gets around other kids, it brings out the worst In her and she morphs into someone else all over again. 😢SMH God help us all please! ❤🙏🏽🙌🏽

Her mom was telling her the truth she ruining her future with those grades. You can tell her mom been fighting hard for her and getting tired. That child was about to lie about her grades until they was exposed. She lied about sneaking out at 2 like she didn't know better. Exactly, this is a rebellious teen and a scared mother. The daughter needed more accountability. If she’s going through something, they should have focused on that. Any potential trauma, since her behavior and grades changed suddenly. If that’s not the cause, they should hold her accountable. She’s been without a dad since 5. She’s just being defiant and her mom is scared where that behavior is going to lead her. Mom is trying her best and didn’t really get any support. The daughter will likely go back to same behavior just this time around she’ll have more excuses to throw at her mother. She needed the same accountability they tried to put on the mom. That little soft voice and nervous body language fooled them. She wasn’t talking all light and looking nervous when she’s sneaking out at night, inviting boys over, skipping school or fighting. He missed the mark in this one. It’s great that had a heartwarming moment. But they also needed a real moment that could actually help them. This wasn’t it.

If you fight everybody who disrespects you, you will always let ppl control you.

I don't know why this episode reminded me of that south park episode when Cartman went onto Murray show acting like he was a bad child..😂

Mom....is not acting loving towards her tho...her annoyance with her is showing...thats a sweet baby who needs love and to feel safe...as parents we need to be open to learn and love too.

Oh she's all sweet and innocent talking to Karamo but we didn't see the fighting video and the way the audience reacted tells me she's not as sweet and innocent as she's acting and Mom said she has been disrespecting her for a long time,Mom should be thankful she's almost 18 so she can get out and find out what life is really about...bad kids DON'T always have bad parents!

I feel like she’s facing peer pressure, trauma and the pressures of the things going on in her world. She’s young and she’s more focused on healing herself that she can’t focus in school.

I feel for her truthfully because at a certain point I was in her shoes and it was the worst because it leads to ptsd , anxiety & depression. I pray she’s able to find and create a balance between healing herself and bettering herself.
