I feel like we are granted about 3 bad/ failed relationships that we are “ dumb” of “head of heels “ and we allow certain shit. Avianca didn't come to this show to leave him. She came to the show to prove to him that she wasn't cheating so he wouldn't leave her. Your therapy advice needs to start there. You have to meet this couple where they are at. Telling her to leave him is something she is not hearing. Teaching her how to navigate a relationship with a controlling boyfriend is something she is most likely to hear. It's called harm reduction (while she stays in the relationship). Antonio is a handsome man so I can see what attracted her, but he needs to therapy on how to treat his partner in a kinder way. That fact that they are both there means that they are probably willing to work on themselves.

@@waveyandroyal It is clear that she is not going to leave him. She started defending him as being a good person. She almost looked shocked that Karamo asked her to leave him. She was not interested in that. This is why I say, you need to start the therapy that will treat her for the situation that she is choosing to stay in. This is called the harm reduction approach.

I mean you're not wrong but there's a reason why Karamo isn't a licensed therapist, he's a prior social worker. He's most likely totally unaware of that approach. But hopefully, when the BF starts being toxic again and most likely soon, she will remember Karamo advised to leave him and she will.
