Keeping in mind of the commerce and context for the audience. he thought of it as a film that has somewhat of a visual scale and a universal storyline which may be a form a escapism for the audience. And the fact that tiger shroff is on front, so It will guarantee u of the first day collection and the hype around it. Coming to the story, it had a lot of element which would make it an exciting film, emotion, action, drama and it checked all the boxes of a summer blockbuster. And it wasn’t a bad film. Yeah it wasn’t great but what he says about the cinema is always profound. And he want to give that larger than life experience for his audience and he’s on the right road. Karan ur been through a lot and don’t let anything take down your belief in your cinema and your vision.

Saumya Mishra if u think I’m a fan of his work. Ur completely wrong, im only trying to be in his shoes and understanding the situation from his point of view. I understand that content is king, but it’s subjected. Even a small budget will require a cost of 15 to 20 Crore from start to finish till the date it’s in the cinema halls. Saying that ur bringing out a product that is niche and just praying for the fact it’ll work is stupidity. So u will have to balance the two and understand. There are a lot of directors or visionaries that set out to make their own kind of cinema but fail miserably. Just cause it’s niche doesn’t mean it’s a good film and say that the audience didn’t appreciate their work.

I've argued this before. I'll argue it again. It was never about the big star. Look at the string of flops in Salman or Akshay's career. Some are during their respective primes. Similarly with Shah Rukh Khan. Even Amitabh Bachchan has a strong of flops. That's just true of any film. There's no such thing as good or bad content. There's no way to objectively measure it. It's subjective. While I haven't liked any of recent SRK films, I can't deny he's taking huge risks. He's trying different things. He's not sticking to what works. And it's okay to get it wrong. You don't value winning if you don't lose. He got bored of winning. It's okay. Just let him be.

Lol.. mushkil se 4-5 south indian films get a full fledged bollywood kind release all over India. Most people are still unaware about many south indian gems in the north. Also, only those south indian films have been hit in the hindi belt which have a bollywood star in it or such connection. Bahubali being the only exception.
