As a therapist I see Karan as much more evolved than the host simply because he's truly worked his ways(good, bad, ugly) to where he is... maybe with mental health support, meds...but he definitely ends up being his own competitor and emerging stronger & wiser . Go from strength to strength is perhaps the mantra & kudos to that.

I don’t understand why the interviewer was adamant that Karan heal like right now ! Like why haven’t u healed ! And how will u do this that & the other if u haven’t healed ! And may be this is why u haven’t healed 😂. O God ! Spare him . And what was she - some antaryami fortune teller - she said I haven’t seen ur house but I know that u have a console at the entrance !! What was that ! I honestly found her so mis-aligned to what Karan was saying & so much of what she was saying either didn’t make sense or felt like she was on her own strange planet , completely off of what Karan was saying .

Karan if u r reading this, u can definitely unlearn the messages that u grew up with especially from ur primal figure. Unfortunately this would need a more emotional retracing than being simply made aware of this (which perhaps may have happened in ur therapy sessions) becoz that becomes an intellectual insight. Emotional insight can be achieved but it takes time & requires an analytic- empathetic competence. Then u can be more comfortable with direct praise on your personal self without squirming inside...and the process of self-acceptance will start happening.
