Contextual and Level 0 diagrams are not the same. In the contextual diagram we only show external entities with our system shown at the center. Then we display the major relationship or you can say how and why that external entitiy basically interacts with the system. On the other hand the Level 0 diagram shows the details of each process through which an External entity interacts with the system. We can only have 1 Contextual diagram but we can have more than one Level 0 diagrams (such diagrams are also called as Detailed DFDs, they are generally considered as the sub-diagrams of the level 0 diagram focusing on detail on the individual process which is shown in level 0 diagram) Another major difference between them is that Level 0 diagram contains Data storage which is not shown in contextual diagram 😊

Some of the phrases used for data sound like processes. I think there is a way to indicate data, and a way to indicate processes. E.g. Reserve book is a process, not data. Reservation request would be more accurate as data in this case. Or not?
