How old are you? I just turned 28, my only training was two Years of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu when i was 13/15 yo. I want to give up smoking and drinking and start a healthy lifestyle, I feel weaker than I was even two years ago and I feel tired with little effort. Am I in time to regain physical form? I have no weight problems and I still eat healthy. Ty.
@christofferszabad2 жыл бұрын
I was 22 years old, but its 5 years ago. Sounds awesome, with your training.You should stop smoking and drinking and do some intense training. Kyokushin Karate is a great way to that. Intense training is a great way to stop unhealthy habits, because you quickly realize, that you will be much more effective if stop smoking and drinking. Best of luck to you!

I too am interested in training Kyokushin in Japan. Though I have studied other styles of karate I have not yet studied Kyokushin. Is Master Noriaki Sato's dojo a good place to start kyokushin training as a foreigner first traveling to Japan? Awesome video by the way.

i am 35 now i started visiting and training in japan at 18 years old.. i left my tae kwon do dojo as assistant instructor and 2nd dan to train at kyokushin karate honbu in ikebukuro tokyo. if you have an opportunity to train in japan for even two weeks, take it. it is a life changing experience you will never forget. i now live in Japan.

You were a very skilled blue belt at the time! I stopped practicing Kyokushin when I was at the same belt level as you. Now I'm back to Karate, but I'm practicing Wado Ryu because there are no Kyokushin dojos near me. Gladly, my Wado Ryu training, even though it's not as physically intense as Kyokushin, is still very challenging and rooted in tradition. Training at a Japanese dojo must be a dream come true. Nice job. Osu!
@christofferszabad Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I was actually a blackbelt in Denmark, but I started as a whitebelt when I got to Japan. Which I think was very good for me because I learned the basics from the begining. Their training style where very different from what I was used to and I learned so much. It was fantastic. Its a classic problem always so hard to find a Kyokushin gym. But Wada Ryu also sounds very fun. 🙂

@@christofferszabad I saw that some of your techniques were a bit more clean than a normal color belt. Other thing that I noticed is that seemed good behavior from the sempai Something that is not so common in Kyoukushin style around the World
