@Darren Harper says who? This is all in videos and Internet BS talk - Bas is a nice & very calm dude. I get the gist that Bas might have been a dickhead when he was in his 20's as a bouncer, being a good fighter, a male model (yes back when Bas had hair, he did model lol ) But Bas is one of those guys who's been around a long time. Back in Europe he knew and trained w/ some Hells Angels and other Dutch underworld figures - so he's been around serious people and knows that there's always someone big, strong, and mean out there. Plus, outside of lawsuits (he's got enough celebrity) u got jail time, plus as I said, eventually someone's going to get you. Bas is an OG and knows & understands all of that very well.

Bas literally gives the exact advice my dad gave me when I was young. Do everything in your power to avoid a fight, say whatever you need to say, run away if you have to, but if you get stuck and someone attacks you, you make sure you are the last one standing. Whatever it takes. Cause once you are down, you are now at the mercy of the person who attacked you in the first place. And if you followed the first part of the advice, then you know this person in front of you cannot be trusted with your safety. They must be incapacitated.

a chair is so nice to have the way he uses it, attacker cant grab or rush you with a knife. its really funny to test it out with a friend. I tried a chair and a stick at my mma gym and the person trying to attack me cant grapple or hit me if i keep poking him with the chair/stick. he tried to rush me only to get poked in the chest and stomach lol only way the person can retailate is to grab the chair/stick away lol

While I love this video the part in this clip where he starts kneeing a guy still holding a knife is not the best idea even if he's landed some punches. Very prone to catching a blade in exposed sides. I do agree with the chair use though that's for sure.
