This almost feels like a RTS match The Void Castle part was pretty much the Flesh SCREAMING for help while the Spore was like "nah bro, can't help, I'm focusing on economy so I can get my strong units before the enemy!" team" meanwhile in the Sculk+Thing team they were actually doing some good teamwork lol 😆

When you spawn proto hivemind please add one or two Mounds, since proto doesn't infect blocks, and mushrooms damaging mobs who step on them play really big role. Mounds also spawn biomass towers, bulbs, and when destroyed, proto spawns another womb. Please consider it for the next time

The spore is the best infection mod. Its just too smart once a hivemind spawns. also i love the 2v2 format so i hope to see other battle like this.

Yeah but for a survival world there isn't much you can do to stop it. The sculk has the same intelligence, is based on something already in the game, can be started whenever you decide and can be restarted if needed

@ while that is true, if the hivemind sends a sieger or a howitzer, you should be done for. Also i hope harbinger adds an ability for the spore to do something like training arctic troops. This would make them immune to the debuff in cold biomes, but still taking damage from CDUs. (even tho less than normal.)

This is a really creative concept and way more enjoyable than single infection battles Not only that. The matchup and teams are well made, Sculk vs Spore (two top in infection mods), and Flesh vs FAW (two being too similar, fire weakness too). They also have synergy with both Flesh and Spore's peak being endgame while Sculk and FAW has assimilated Sculk

Did not expect the Sculk to hold off the Spore and Flesh in the first world but considering that they have that effect (Diseased Cyst?) that lets them get stupid high mass it maybe makes sense. Sad that Assimilated Sculk didn't do all that much in this one, but I guess the bramble would give that team even more of an advantage.

Sculk have fast spread FAW have great durability and can convert any mobs TFTH have strong army and good damages Spore can be spread on any block and have a smart ai mobs

You could make an official karat feng mod with multiple infection mods, that are modified to be somewhat balanced and a day passing could increase spawn rates so a single infection could not take over completely.

From another world while bad at spreading plays the role of an assassin super well. That mixed with something fire resistant like the skulk spelled the end for everyone else.

Hey Karat, I'm not sure if you've seen it, but Biomancy 2 has a block infection system in it that starts to spread when you kill a Primordial Flesh Blob entity. It's a really cool style of block infection that doesn't quite work like these other mods, so I'd be interested in seeing your reaction to how it works in a video at some point 😄

The Things are op against the other infections lol. They have insane damage resistance and regeneration right at the start unless they get set on fire/wither. Maybe to make it a bit more fair you could configure FAW to be vulnerable to the other infections' effects.

@@darkreaper1055 i did the main secret is to never and i mean NEVER stay in the same spot. just backpacks galore and run in 1 direction. Neanderthal strat always works. Also go to sleep, night time is not worth it.

I feel like the spore sabotagad TFTH in the first match and the second due to the pyro variants, so in my opinion atleast that wasn't a fair 2v2 and more like 1.5 v2.5 (2.5 because of spore sabotaging TFTH and 1.5 for being on the same team as TFTH)

The flesh always gets done dirty during this battle videos cause it takes way to long to spread compare to the other infections but is also easily the strongest if they start getting flesh community’s or get to the last phase but that doesn’t matter if they are not even able get enough mass to get to that point

Flesh was holding the frontline for a majority of both battles dude. The only reason Spore managed to get anything done was because the Flesh was holding everything off for them early on.
