I have visited the shine of Imam back in 2019. I hope to revisit it again soon. Well, I am sorry about all the negative comments on the behalf of all Muslims present here in the comment section. We are still learning ourselves about Islam as we all are fallible creatures. We are also learning the ethics of welcoming reverts and converts in our communities. Since it's pretty new for us too. truth 100%. I spent 6 days in Baghdad last May after being away for 45 years. The amount of genuine hospitality, kindness, respect and love was absolutely outstanding and brought me to tears. There hasn't been 1 day since May that I have not thought about Iraq and it's people. We left Iraq in '76. Always had to try to fit in somewhere. Always the brown foreign kid. May, 2022 I finally felt at home. It was only for 6 days, but that feeling will last till I return. I love you beautiful Iraq. You are my people. I feel ashamed we ever left in the first place.
