Fair play for taking the time to make this video. And thank you for confirming I will never buy this karcher washer. I want a simple to use high power washer. A washer with a few settings on knobs to get the job done. I do not want to spend my time reading a manual for the lcd display settings. Replacing battery's and pretty much having to take a one day course in how to use a pressure washer. Tech is a good thing. I work in the industry. However sometimes it's just not needed. This is the case with this. I tried a screwfix titan yesterday 150bar simple and no faff and did a great job. I do appreciate your video tho. Just proves for all that extra money you get gimmicks.

Hi Michael, I do agree with you that you don't always need the bells and whistles. As I have found out these bells and whistles can stop working. My original Karcher was pretty much on or off. It got the job done. I think I'll enjoy using the new one though , even if its always set to max!! Thanks for the great comments and for watching 👍🏽

If you make heavy use as I have I carry a needle with me as yhou can push that into the end of the nozzle when it gets blocked. I mostly clean on the very highest setting in the swirl motion. I have been having problems with using solution though so that has never really worked well for me but that may be my fault.I do need to use as have massive areas at home about 50 litres of hypo treatment on one very large paved area alone and cannot think of a way for the K7 to take all that in and spread it so will keep looking. I would like something to link the K7 to my open big mixed 50% water/ hypo and suck it through to the machine but I think that is perhaps not possible.
@MikeMakesIt5 ай бұрын
Hi Jane, So far I've not had any blockage but like you, tend to always use full power. The plug-in containers are an expensive option and it would be great to be able to get a conversion kit to be able to plug in your own liquid on the Karcher port. That might be something I can look at. If its gravity fed though it bit be a bit tricky. Thanks for the comments and for watching.

@MikeMakesIt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Unknown Unknow. I thought the same but when compared to the normal jet there is a big difference in my case. However just yesterday when I was using the "swisher" even though the system was on full power it seemed underpowered. What I did was to turn the power right down on the hand control then back up and it really did speed up and perform better. I've not used it enough to know if this is an on going issue but you might like to try that if you have a K7 or similar. It made a big difference. Thanks for watching 👍🏽

Hi Oliver, I was fortunate to be looking on Amazon at the right time and got mine for less than £340 which is quite a saving based on the normal price. I have a professional concrete cleaner. These plastic things are really useless. However, what is keeping me from buying a Karcher electric is the proprietary fittings. It doesn't seem like you can add any tools due to the proprietary connections. I have a very nice aftermarket foamer and I don't think I can use it with this.
@MikeMakesIt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Christschool and thanks for the comment. I'm currently getting on ok with my Karcher but I know not everyone likes them. I have been able to get add on's for my old Karcher from different manufactures and indeed hope to be have a non Karcher foamer video on my channel in the near future. This particular device has many different options to be able to fit it to an array of different machines. So non Karcher attachments are available but may be limited. Any way thanks for watching 👍🏽

I have added a stubby gun with quick release fittings and swivel to mine (to stop the hose kinking) with no problems and had been using a Autobrite Direct foam lance, but since I have moved on to a MJJC wide bottom/ wide neck foam lance and I find it a lot more practical. Does this have a detergent pipe? for example if I want to add drain enzyme to the inside of a drain but can’t find a quick connect one. If not how would I go about mixing it and spraying it through the lance?
@MikeMakesIt2 ай бұрын
@@ashton_gaming8670 Hi, on mine there is NO pipe, just a cradle in the top of the machine you put the prepackaged solutions. If you cut the bottom off one of these containers and fitted what’s left into the machine you could pour your solution directly into this but it might spill when you move the washer around. I don’t know how “delicate” the machine is. It’s possible some solutions may damage the internals. Not sure on that one I’m afraid but it’s worth bearing that in mind. Good luck and thanks for watching.

Your welcome Mike. I am thinking of starting a jet wash company , decking , patio, stone wave, paving. Do you this would do the job or are the other models more affective? Thanks Freddie
@MikeMakesIt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Freddie. Unfortunately I only have experience with the Karcher. I have had no issues with mine but judging by some of the comments they are not the peoples favourite! My advice would be go to a supplier when you can demo a range of machines, Karcher included. That way you can get feel for what might be right for you. Also you can get washers that run off fuel as apposed to electricity. These could be more practical if you are out and about. This way you are not always looking for a mains socket. Good luck with the new venture, I really hope it works out 👍🏽

Can't you just drop the shampoo stuff into the machine and use the mixer on the lance to suds up the car without the attachment you showed near the end? Great demo btw. I'd have not bothered with the patio cleaner attachment if I'd seen this first.
@MikeMakesIt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dooovde. Some of the cleaners, such as the stone cleaner can be fitted directly to the machine, Karcher call it plug and clean! As far as I know it is product specific if it is screwed into the machine or how I showed onto a nozzle. On the Karcher web site it shows 2 of the cleaning products attached to the machine and another 2 with no suggestion what you do with them. With the foamer Karcher only show it on a lance like I used it. I expect Karcher would tell you if you provide information the cleaning liquid and machine you would be using.
