K.A.R.D is going to be the best group when they debut this is just predebut and their songs are really the best ,they know what people enjoy listening to plus being a co-ed group the mixing of two different type of voices feels good to listen to and their beats are so good their music is the type that everyone can listen to and enjoy (it's not cute, it's not sexy, it's just good) even though they're more popular internationlly but i'm sure after their debut they'll be more noticed in SK I can already see them being on the billboard charts and killing it i can't wait for the 3rd project Not to mention that they're all funny adorable and they make alot of videos for the fans they even made an english version for us and i just can't thank them enough times for that ;-; I feel like K.A.R.D is going to be a group that is really close with their fans like they would check all our fanarts, dance covers, reaction videos, memes... Yes, DSP was not a small company, they used to be as big as SM Ent, and had a lot of successful artistes like Sechskies, Fin K. L., SS501, and their most recent success was KARA. It's just they're really BAD at managing talent, and many groups got disbanded or wasted (Sechskies was forced to disband in 2000, made a successful comeback after 16 years, a really touching story for Kpop in 2016 and joined YG!). It's been a long time since they had a successful new group. This is a good song, but given DSP's poor management record, I worry for KARD.

So I have a little comparison. A lot of rookies have shot to fame pretty quick, sometimes even when they are from a small company. One group that really reminds me of KARD is ASTRO. Astro is a boy group that debuted near the beginning of this year, and they really took off. Although their musical style is practically completely opposite that of KARD's, their gain of fame was very similar. Sudden attention, hype before debut, over 3 million views on their first mv, and over 100,000 subscribers on their channel gained in the blink of an eye. They were destined for success and I can still see it in Astro's future. But the sadness of this sudden gain was that it almost immediately died down. They didn't change their concept for their next comeback either. ASTRO is definitely not a flop, but they have failed to keep that buzz, that interest, alive. What I hope KARD offers is a fresh new look on the kpop scene- new music, a new type of group, a new sort of dynamic. I want them to succeed, and, no offense to Astro, but I don't really want them to go Astro's route. I hope they join the ranks with iKON, BlackPink, (EDIT: also BTS, GOT7, and Mamamoo) and other amazing rookies. They really have so much potential and I don't want to see it wasted.
