Inspiration isn't illegal, and there's only so many animals in the world. Some things are bound to overlap a bit. It's a toxic business practice, and it just shows they want a to monopolize the genre. I mean apply it to movies. Should The Shape of Water not exist because the Creature From the Black Lagoon does?

@@trippinbawls88 what does throwing a ball that shows catch rate have to do with monster catching, that was literally what the patent, and I've seen ppl try to say it was made a few month after palworld released... but that's not true. It release around the time palworld had their first project picture before any footage appeared for it, yes inspiration isn't a bad thing but they literally used the catching system of throwing a ball in that certain way and showing catching percentage
