yang kare-kare (curry, curry) hindi yan filipino food. . .indian food yan. . .yung karehan (curry-han) ay mga indian ang nagpasimula niyan. . yung mga indian na nagpaiwan dito after ng giyera laban sa british

Indian sepoys from Southern India that settled in Philippines during the British occupation of Manila. Homesick, they improvised their own cuisine with available materials.
