Meeting held in Plymouth as people voice concerns over proposed Eagle Brook Church campus

I live less than 5 minutes from the site proposal, and often go on Maple Grove Parkway where the site is. It would be the worst idea yet to allow this megachurch to be built. Traffic in and around that area would be an absolute hellish nightmare.

The "church" had enough money to buy the property and build a huge building, but was using a local public school for free, before that, because they were too poor? Hm. They'll get away with a big influx of traffic, and pay no taxes to offset the wear on roads.

Here is one that hit my email box, yet I no longer see here. chouseification: we definitely do NOT want it... I live off Chankhada near the 494 bridge, and traffic trying to turn left in the winter is dangerous already; we have no grocery store nearby so we absolutely have no room for yet another church. There are already way too many in this part of town... find somewhere else!!!

I’m guessing churches pay some taxes on investments, but if you’re buying land in the name of “god” you pay nothing. It’s a business
