What Elvis did do was to underline continuously and write comments next to the paragraphs where he had underlined. He did that with his The Holy Bible as well. The story about Elvis and Brando is BS. Elvis met Brando only once in one of the employee cafeterias at one of the movie studios. Elvis was very excited to meet him as he was a fan. Brando was not friendly and Elvis was disappointed with the way the accidental meeting went. You can research the whole story online.

The autobiographical book from Brando ( = " Songs My Mother Taught Me " ) mentioned , laconically , that Brando underestimated Elvis : Brando thought that Elvis just stole black music but Marlon was more than wrong , Elvis grew up with Gospels and Rhythm & Blues who matched so deeply with his intrinsic nature that Elvis stayed in symbiosis with them all his life with an overflowing passion . I think he's resting very well considering all they took out of him during his autopsy, plus i do not know many dead people that read or write or anything else for that matter. Elvis was in show business which is a money making joke on the public; so he set himself up to be part of the public domain. Besides, no one has made more money off of Elvis than his ex-wife, she made Tom Parker look like the amateur he was. If Elvis had any sense at all or wasn't strung out all the time, he should have fired Parker and the Mafia, made Priscilla his manager If so, his life would have been much longer and more fulfilled. She's obviously a shrewd business person.. This sounds like horse sh!t to me, and to that end I agree with you whole heartedly. it's bad enough that he was the kind of the sleazy tabloids but to still be that 45 years after his death is preposterous.

I read this book. I couldn’t even get through it because my eyes were rolling so much, they were getting stuck in my head. Some stuff rang true but the first 1/2 of the book is spent trying to prove the handwriting analysis to see if it could be proven who even wrote these letters.

That same sequel will also devote an entire chapter regarding the night when Batman was unavailable to take a searchlight call due to his being confined to bed with nagging toothache and Elvis, being the ever gracious super hero in-waiting, cordially stepped in to help the Caped Crusader. Rumor has it that Elvis got along famously with Robin and worked well together. The pair made several key arrests that night including busting a drunken orgy which had gotten out of hand at the police commissioners residence and the arrest of a gang of dope fiends at Gotham City Town Hall Mayors Office. The author says that he has “ indisputable proof” said incidents occurred because his next door neighbor surreptitiously overheard two inebriated men in a bar detailing events whilst they were both playing pool. I think some parts of the book is true and some exaggerated. Elvis didnt always have the Memphis Mafia around him he had many different friends and interests. I hope he didnt suffer like it says in the book but Elvis was afraid for his life he had a vulnerability about him. I believe he was an empath and this Carmen visited him through astral projection because I believe all of that myself. I just read the book front to back in last two days... I have never read a book that made me cry so much... This explains so much and I have always wondered and have felt he too is an empath... he had many of my same ailments... I can also believe this and that the Colonel probably his so much or hushed such from being in the news and media whole he was failing and in hospital... I do hope they someday find the other letter from her... Ar this time people still try to ruin Elvis reputation and also even others like Brando... I often wonder if some of the mob or mafia or people connected to Hollywood is why Elvis got fed up with much of Hollywood... Thank you for writing this book maybe it will be made into a documentary or a movie but it would be hard to do and is awfully tragic and graph ic... Hello from England ELVIS died 2 days before my 12th birthday. I have been a FAN ever since Watching lots of videos and all the documentaries that were made they make me think so much more about the years that have "flown by" There were many books written also since by many people. Its been 44 + years since ELVIS DIED and he is BIGGER THAN EVER People will still be interested in ELVIS for many years to come. An example i give is the BIO PIC due to be released in June 2022 - A BAZ LUHMANN project. Yes although it is a BIO PIC i am sure the PRODUCERS AND WARNER BROS WHO ARE DISTRIBUTING THE FILM will want to SELL IT BIG but even when this project was muted around 2014 there were very few alive. I will need to read the book, but based on this video, none of it lines up with Elvis' personality, moving furniture from one house to another, everyone knows he would not have done that. Of the years of being an Elvis fan, all the hours of info I have watched about him, and the many books I have read about him, I only know of Elvis and Brando meeting one time, shortly, just an introduction, and were never friends that would socialize, much more, move furniture together. Sounds like a fiction book to me but I will try to read it at some point, to give it its' fair due.

But, that's the plot of this book, its freaking selling point, so to make it sound non painful and use the sanitized word of "sodomised," seemed even more offensive to me. Look, you seem like a good guy, but I have no clue why you would believe this story, especially if you understand Elvis. I am sure there is an answer for every objection I pose, but, just the simplest one gets unnoticed. The fact that Brando and Elvis only met one time, in 1958, should be enough of a warning that anything else said in book should be investigated. Also, this is not why he carried guns, he carried guns because (and I'm paraphrasing what Elvis said) ' I dont want some sniveling wimp like Lee Harvey Oswald laughing in the camera knowing he killed Elvis Presley.' If someone had tried to kidnap Elvis he would have used karate first and guns second. Best wishes despite our opposing views. P.S. I didn't say Carmen hated Elvis, I was referring to the author of this book. Speaking of Carmen, no one near to Elvis knew her, even Elvis spiritual guru, Larry Gellar, said Elvis never mentioned her in the 13 years he knew Elvis. He's actually 47 years old and uses Photoshopped images of a biker that he took rolls of film of at a rally in Sturgis. What's even funnier, is that biker, doesn't even know Jon. Much like Bob Joyce, Jon Cotner was selling CDs And people were sending him money just because they thought he was Elvis. And Jon had a pretty astounding way of talking like Elvis because he was from the same part of the country. He just kicked it up a notch and BAM! dead on Elvis impression. You know how I know this is crap - Elvis only wrote maybe 6 letters TOP in his entire life. THREE of those letters were in boot camp to Anita Wood and her copies were donated to Harvard and were released as a memento limited edition box set. I own that set. The other half were from Elvis to Priscilla from Graceland to Germany. Those 2 or 3 have never been seen by the public. Elvis was a huge Brando fan and only met him ONCE on the studio lot. Brando was icy. Rita Moreno has claimed that she used Elvis Presley to payback Marlon Brando for cheating on her after she found womens panties. Elvis spotted her at the 20th Century Fox commissary, and he liked what he saw had Parker call her up. They went out a few times, Brando was furious, she claims she lost interest with Elvis and eventually got back together with Brando. Lastly - Elvis didn't do anything for himself - EVER. He would wipe his mouth with a clean tissue everytime and drop the used one on the floor. When he got up his house keeper had to pick them ALL UP HERSELF. Joyce Bova talks about the TV above Elvis' bed would get fuzzy and he would wake his dad up at 3am via phone to stand in the bed and wiggle the antenna to fix the picture. His girlfriend was not allowed to do it for him lol. He had people to do EVERYTHING. Billy or the maphia would pull his clothes from the closet for him, wash his hair for him, shop for HIM books he may like. He even called family to remove stuff from his room for him. He had bad back & horrible arthritis. He used the cane for a real reason not just as a pimp lol. The TV he shot was even taken down by a family member, his closet cleaned by family, entire collections of jumpsuits, wardrobes, even jewelry, trunks of books, all were moved by family or friends and when sold at auctions stated "Elvis called me to remove the TV, (OR the lamp, the wardrobe, these jackets...) and told me I could have it" he didn't pump his gas, fill his car, order his food, or shop really after 1957...

You know how I know this is crap - Elvis only wrote maybe 6 letters TOP in his entire life. THREE of those letters were in boot camp to Anita Wood and her copies were donated to Harvard and were released as a memento limited edition box set. I own that set. The other half were from Elvis to Priscilla from Graceland to Germany. Those 2 or 3 have never been seen by the public. Elvis was a huge Brando fan and only met him ONCE on the studio lot. Brando was icy. Rita Moreno has claimed that she used Elvis Presley to payback Marlon Brando for cheating on her after she found womens panties. Elvis spotted her at the 20th Century Fox commissary, and he liked what he saw had Parker call her up. They went out a few times, Brando was furious, she claims she lost interest with Elvis and eventually got back together with Brando. Lastly - Elvis didn't do anything for himself - EVER. He would wipe his mouth with a clean tissue everytime and drop the used one on the floor. When he got up his house keeper had to pick them ALL UP HERSELF. Joyce Bova talks about the TV above Elvis' bed would get fuzzy and he would wake his dad up at 3am via phone to stand in the bed and wiggle the antenna to fix the picture. His girlfriend was not allowed to do it for him lol. He had people to do EVERYTHING. Billy or the maphia would pull his clothes from the closet for him, wash his hair for him, shop for HIM books he may like. He even called family to remove stuff from his room for him. He had bad back & horrible arthritis. He used the cane for a real reason not just as a pimp lol. The TV he shot was even taken down by a family member, his closet cleaned by family, entire collections of jumpsuits, wardrobes, even jewelry, trunks of books, all were moved by family or friends and when sold at auctions stated "Elvis called me to remove the TV, (OR the lamp, the wardrobe, these jackets...) and told me I could have it" he didn't pump his gas, fill his car, order his food, or shop really after 1957...

He was depressed. He coped. But he spent more and more time on his room. With his companion s sometimes. Couldn’t Ginger see he may have been down. Not blaming her, but honestly if I was 21, I’d try my best to cheer them up, if they could not get out of that darkness. I wouldn’t stick around I’d want to be around more positive people. Ginger was too young to be around middle aged problems. She may have been more mature for her and sincerely cared, but she was still young. I don’t blame her, she only was with Elvis for about 8 months. She was caught up in the glow of this famous man. And maybe a chance for a better life for her, at that age it is understandable. But as mature as she was she was still young. Elvis had health problems, medication s could have affected his sex drive. But how little did he know the affect his death had not n people, he would have been absolutely shocked. He knew he had fans , but his death felt around the world. Because the lost a music icon, who helped turn music into a new form, he didn’t invent, but he had a style all his own, he was influenced by blacks, he didn’t intentionally still anything, but a white man to shake like that was a shock. Asked why he did what he did” it just comes natural, I can’t help it, the beat of the music, I just do my own thing man” 😊he had no intention of shocking anyone. And music went from there. And 46 years he is still remembered. Not the most gifted ,,talented ,,didn’t write music, but his aura,,charisma, somehow made him different. How do these people sleep at night. If you compare the handwriting to his letter written to Anita, so many inconsistencies with the style of writing. Everyone in his life has said how "little" he actually wrote letters and we are to believe he told this woman all his deepest darkest secrets? Bunk. Jan Shepherd talks about when Elvis was fanning out in the commissary in 1958 when Marlon Brando was there, but they were never friends. I've never heard Rita Moreno say she actually slept with Elvis - she said he was "boring." She just wanted to make Marlon jealous.
