The Lakers trader a future HOFer Adrian Dantley for Spencer Haywood thinking he was the missing piece to a dynasty. Instead Haywood became a coke addict. The last straw was when during a practice for a playoff game he fell asleep while stretching. I didn't know the vote was so close. He was well liked in the locker room, but it was obvious that he was hurting the team. Just think how good the lakers could have been with Dantley.
@JAWrightonline Жыл бұрын
Dantley was a bad fit. Him and Wilkes as starting forwards left them too vulnerable under the boards. And as a ballhog, he jammed up the offense. Dantley never fit in anywhere. He's the only Hall of Fame player where multiple teams (Lakers; Pistons) that traded him won Titles immediately after he left.
