In my teens, I used to adore Kareena Kapoor. Her acting and the way she looks. As I grew up (as there was no choice) I started disliking her because she stopped or simply limited her growth as an actor. She remained a "star" and a passive one. And when in reply his daughter tried to share her struggle with PCOD and hormonal imbalance that had caused her weight gain, this very well-educated, well-read, well-bred man interrupted her and said “Oh, so it had nothing to do with pizza?” and body shamed her on a very popular show on national television. And then this very well-educated, well-read, well-bred man "joked" with Karan Johar that all he would ask a potential suitor of his daughter was, “Got cash? Print & media ads, fashion shows , radio shows start getting dominated by actors is not good at all.. I mean all actors have to do is just make an appearance , there will be a whole team working for them to make look good. I'm sure that's going to be the case with the radio show, unlike RJs who are observant, do improv on the set somebody else is going to do the research, cover up their blunders,come up with great questions but not get due credit... I'm fed up with seeing actors (A-listers) everywhere- print , media ads , fashion shows, radio....I want the good old days back , fresh faces endorsing brands , walking on ramp, slowly building their career and becoming a brand themselves. Actually, Voldemort is a half blood because his father Tom Riddle Sr. was a common muggle and his mother Merope Gaunt was a witch. Hermione is a muggle born and not a half blood thus making her a "mudblood" which is a defamatory term.

Kareena is as much a part pf Bollywood as anybody else. Geez, stop with the negativity. You can't tell Anupuma what she should do. Film Companion has great content, and like any other venture, sometimes it strikes with all of us, sometimes it's a misfire. The whole idea is to keep trying. She never shies away from asking difficult questions, she always tries to keep the conversation interesting and comfortable for her guest. I don't like Kareena myself, but who are we to make personal attacks on anyone? And WHY?
