The way she continues to reinvent herself is just amazing. She’s been able to re-work her voice to where, if she’s not hitting a note in full chest voice, she knows how to navigate seamlessly to head voice. A pro! Still my favorite singer of all time!

Out of all the many songs I've heard and listened to across every genre. There is none more Spiritual, beautiful, touching, humbling, and POWERFUL than this song. Being that I grew up in COGIC. I obviously grew up listening to the Clark sisters and Karen as an individual artist. Though, I no longer partake in religion, I'm still very much Spiritual. Even moreso since I went on my personal journey. Anyway, I've been listening to this particular master piece every since Karen released it. The lyrics and her gift never ceases to amaze, but even moreso pour into me. Interesting enough, I haven't heard this song in a while and it just randomly popped up today when I needed it. I'm not feeling down. I'm actually feeling energetic and in myself right now, but I've realized that even when walking in strength, sometimes we need reinforcement and nourishment that feeds our strength. 🔥🔥🔥
