Brian Albert was not retired at the time of the offense. It was after John’s death that he retired, moved and rehomed his dog.

And did ‘renovations’ by removing some of the concrete floor in his basement and rehomed his phone the day before a court order to preserve said phone was to go into effect… and evidently had issues with ‘butt dialing’ one specific person.

Ring footage camera was deleted that night from the Alberts’ house. Also, Karen Read’s tail light did not look SHATTERED when she went to get O’Keef early in the morning. According to the prosecution, at that time, she had already killed him and the tail light was shattered. Then you have Jen’s search. Then you have the dog that was re-homed. They sole the house after remodeling their basement. The alberts and all the other cops were calling each other all night long while O’keef had died, but they all pretended it was butt dialed. What are the odds they ALL butt dialed that night? Idk man. Whether she did it or not, she cannot be convicted due to those facts that causes reasonable doubt.

@@Physics072oh come on even if the neighbors had the videos inside of the town a large percent are witch hunters towards Karen and call her guilty and don’t explain any evidence for it or counter the scientific facts that show she couldn’t have hit him (and therefore couldn’t have killed him based on what the prosecution said must have happened). That’s not great odds that the owner would want to incriminate their neighbors with tons of power. Then we know the police wouldn’t force it and would honestly say “no we don’t need it right now” so it self deleted. So the neighbor definitely could have had a video of it and been willing to hand it over while it was still available. also they could have lied to police and didn’t have any. We know they should have got a warrant for it extremely fast. Like FIRST thing ever besides saving John. Also they can’t call this just “negligence” because they hid, manipulated, created, and destroyed evidence MANY times. Almost all of the witnesses were caught lying or “not knowing” or change of story a LOT and those are the ones called out and proven wrong. Yet every single time it was always anything that could have proven the case or exonerated Karen. Really? Key evidence that would convict Karen? ALL evidence that showed up randomly and could have easily been faked with extremely sketchy background? Every single piece of the “key” evidence that objectively shows Karen is guilty. Yet every single piece of evidence that would have exonerated her (or convicted as well), EVERY SINGLE ONE, was either purposefully ignored, destroyed, dissapesred, or had some weird chain of custody where it was handled by a cop linked to the families and was unaccounted for. All of the unbiased witnesses made Karen look more innocent. All the ones with at least sketchy connections or clear bias are the ones that testified against Karen. Almost every single one of the family majoirty destroyed, altered, hid, and many times called out on that for evidence or testimony. Yet every time they “forgot” or “butt dialed” it’s always something that would help us convict one of them and exonerate Karen. They had to have done it. Statistically, it’s is likely that over 90% of those “coincidences” were ON PURPOSE before the bias started kicking in. With the selective bias it’s almost all of it. If we saw one or two for one or two people then maybe that would be okay if it’s not too big, like someone getting a new phone the day before. We’d say there’s a 0.1% chance that just randomly happened (it’s really around 0.02 I did the math) and we’d just chalk that up to freak coincidence. But we’ve seen every single possible key evidence missed only when it would exonerate Karen. None of the experts on prosecution got into any REAL physical evidence or recreation of the scene. None of their evidence at all was able to prove Karen was innocent by even a decent standard. By this point it’s impossible that Karen is guilty because the prosecution would have prosecuted her with only 1/20 things they fucked up or ignored despite the fact that outside people directly mentioned it or told them they should do it or they spoke about it. It doesn’t look like they were trying to convict Karen for the crime they think she did. I believe that’s impossible to believe now even before the unbiased FBI experts proved that it is scientifically, medically, and physically according to basic LAWS of Physics impossible for Karen to have hit John at any point, impossible that he died in a car wreck, and insanely impossible she hit him into the yard. There is a 99.99% chance or more that he was bitten by a dog before he died but he was bitten 5 min-2 hours before his death. He died in the morning according to medical science. Karen could not have killed him it’s proven without a doubt actually. Unless someone can explain how she could have hit him to kill him and explain how that’s physically possible to do from the end result then you must admit there is no doubt, no single possible way, that Karen hit John with her car and considering the evidence presented by the prosecution she could not have killed him any other single way due to the timelines and movement. Which means someone else killed him. Oh also he didn’t get rid of his dog he REHOMED IT! I think he may have play fighter and the dog jumped in and bit and some unfortunate fall happened. Even though there was no evidence that could be taken from Chloe he got rid of her literally that night and hasn’t brought her back and wouldn’t tell the jury. So there is a STRONG chance that he is hiding Chloe and could have been motivated by Chloe biting John. See Chloe had already bitten one person and so she would have been confiscated and put down. Usually for big/dangerous labeled dots it gets put down the first bite it takes. The first thing did after killing John (hypothetically) was to take Chloe somewhere she couldn’t be found because they KNEW they may get arrested and charged. I also think they didn’t plan the car hit theory I think they had him alive but really bad and then once they saw Karen was stressed out they decided to go around and pretend like he died in the yard. Then they manipulated her to wondering if she hit him and had her saying things that they could twist. They probably asked the EMTs if they heard her say “I hit him” and kinda tricked them in forgetting the first part which is extremely doable. But really she said “Did I hit him?”. Naturally if someone is busy they’re way more likely to miss the “did” question mark where as “I” and “Hit” “Him” probably grabbed their attention right away or at least if they didn’t catch the first part of it. Anyways there is zero evidence or even potential explanation where Karen kills John nevertheless hits him with a car and it’s impossible she made him end up in the yard. The taillight plastic had to be planted which means none of the physical evidence after the first morning can be considered.

@omaha-republicanIt wasn't supposed to blow up in the media. I 100% agree with this. That's why the "investigation" was so slipshod. None of this was expected to ever see the light of day. I think where they really screwed up was underestimating Karen Read's intelligence and willingness to fight. That's maybe one silver lining: if they did realize that, they could have easily done a much better framing. It just strikes me as terrifying that Massachusetts police drive around drunk all the time and that in the MOST flattering interpretation of this situation they are merely incompetent keystone kops. I literally have no trust in them at all after this.

It's worse than that. Higgins admitted to using that FBI tool to extract "text strings" of the (in his mind) relevant text messages... yet what was put in evidence was screenshots of the texts. Lol, wut? That tool didn't create screenshots. It just occurred to me... I would bet money that the FBI kiosk Higgins used logs absolutely everything done with it. But also... Higgins literally testified on the stand to several federal crimes even WITH his lawyer present. You would expect the lawyer to tell him to take the fifth. This strongly suggests to me Higgins has some sort of immunity deal with the Feds.

A few items incorrect but overall an absolutely excellent summary of the case. As to how they decided to pin it on Karen, I think it was just a matter of taking advantage of the opportunity. Original plan was probably to say he got hit by a snow plow. Then Karen shows up, hysterical, without a clear memory of what happened the night before, having cracked her taillight on John’s car, and Jen McCabe figured they had the perfect patsy...

It's not like they had to come up with some big elaborate plan to frame Karen Read. They knew the snow plow would be coming by once it started snowing, and if they left him out by the curb then they could just blame the plow driver. They weren't originally planning on framing KR, but when she called and showed up at the house looking for JOK in the early AM before the plow driver or some other person could discover his body, they had to change their story on the fly. Karen was in shock and didn't understand how her boyfriend was lying near the street, dead in the snow, when he was perfectly fine a few hours prior when she dropped him off. Obviously she's not going to automatically assume the friggin cops inside 34 Fairview murdered him and left him outside to die, so she's trying to come up with some logical explanation as to why he's lying there near the road, dead. So she asks "did I hit him? Could I have hit him?". Then Jen McCabe's evil ass hears her say that, and decides to run with it.

Alcohol is practically the root of all evil... Or at least it coaxes evil out and unleashes a lot of hell on this planet. An incredible number of terrible and unspeakable things would never happen if so many people weren't drinking. Furthermore, a lot of people are walking around with a slight case of undiagnosed fetal alcohol syndrome which doesn't have the physical markers of full blown FASD but causes severe emotional issues, impulsivity and negatively affects one's capacity to make sound life decisions. Another scenario, John was at the Albert's house front door, the Albert's dog was let out the back of the house. Khloe came around the house, saw John and attacked his arm. John ran toward the street to get Karen's attention who was leaving in her SUV so he threw his drink glass at the SUV which broke the tail light and while running, John slipped on the snow covered road and hit his head on the curb. He drug himself to the flag pole. The blizzard conditions covered up this trail. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It was proven by State that the google search was done after 6pm. The house was already with a real estate before Johns death, the dog was rehomed because of an attack on another dog that injured a person.

I have trouble with her drinking that much because of her intestinal problem. With what she did drink, I believe she needed to go home and care for herself. If so, John was being so so selfish. Or he could have just wanted to make an appearance and then leave. He didn't get a chance to get away from them. Jen (as she testified) was the lookout, because she was reporting about karens movements with her car. I'm sure, also, watching to see if karen would walk up to the house. Karen leaving, may have saved her life.

Answer. They weren’t going to pin it on Karen that night when they put John in the lawn. I think they were wanting to say the plow driver must have hit John before he made it in the house remember his Apple Watch said he had gone up and down three sets of stairs after he walked 80ish steps after he got out of Karen’s car Perfect length of steps to their front door leaving enough to walk around the house enough to be involved in the attack. My theory from knowing this case since it was on dateline etc not sure which one, over a year ago and listening to the questions the defence were asking certain “witnesses”during the trial …(remember right after Karen was arrested, a father of someone at the house that night probably one of the sons friends, went into Karen’s lawyers office and told him what his child said that his client Karen is innocent and that John was killed in the house by … … and was put outside hoping to blame it on the plow. Unfortunately he was willing to tell the lawyer but when the FBI got involved and learned he’d have to testify. He refused ..you see he knew them all and was afraid of them) especially when pointing out to them the bars video when they were “fighting” playing around, grabbing onto eachother etc. I believe the defence was either told by the father or believe what probably happened was Karen not wanting to go in the house that night because she felt something might be off maybe believing Jenn or someone else at the house was going to call Karen out for texting buddy. So she waited outside to get john to go in check how the mood was etc. and to text her whether she should come in or not. I believe they think Huggins jumped on him playing around like in the bar and john wanted no part of that and over reacted or was just plan pizzed and pushed him off maybe punched him etc and the other Brian and Collin who LOVE LOVE LOVE to fight saw this and ATTACKED John. probably falling back hit his head on the gym equipment in the basement. We have to remember none of them were particularly close to john, one being Colin was actually supposed to be having problems with John. Because john hated that he crossed his property leaving beer cans with his friends on his property, Colin yelling back at him swearing calling him this rude nickname etc. they also say there was huge problems with this kids parents too. They lied when said john asked them to watch the house during the trial. John was very particular about his belongings the way his house was to be kept etc. that’s a known thing. We heard this in the trial. This thing with Colin was a big deal to John. Karen has said they were on vacation and John was furious With Colin’s parents when they sent him the picture of them on his lawn drinking beers etc. there is so much more and more. But I’ve already written a book here. Lol. But there is so much more that hasn’t even come to light yet. 🤷🏼‍♀️

And because of Proctor, and the rest of the investigators, either botching or corrupting (Take your pick, they did both) the investigations guarantees that JO will never get Justice because the actual perpetrators will not be charged or brought to justice since they tainted the case so badly. So if you want to blame anyone for the lack of respect being shown to the victim, there ya go.

I think the reason the jury is taking so long is because of judge error, reissuing jury directions adding pages of extra, and her remark to karen read about smiling will have shaken them. Their decision may be affected. Appeal grounds? Not that i think she is guilty. Amongst the lesser charges for drink driving is 5 yrs mandatory. Jury may not, will not know that. Id say not guilty to all even if she was under influence when driving, due to stress caused by case. Shes been punished enough. Shell probably have ptsd fallout for many yrs to come.

You missed a point. The reason they framed karen, is bc at first they were going to say he got hit by a plow! But when karen backed out of John's garage she tapped his car and cracked her tail light! She mentioned that to Jen McCabe! Who went back to her sister's house and told Brian Albert and them..that is when they decided to Frame Karen. They just didn't expect her to get such a great lawyer!! They thought it was cut and dry! You also forgot to mention that Brian Albert and Brian Higgins destroyed their phones! Including one of them destroying the cards and phones and putting the parts in different dumpsters at a military base!!

Here's how Karen is guilty: Karen lied when she said she left him at the bar. Karen lied when she left VM to John, stating she was at her home. Karen; at aprox 5 am, said "he's dead". Karen's car, aprox 5 am, headed towards the crime scene right before she said "he's dead". Karen repeatedly stated "I hit him I hit him I hit him". Karen is the only one in the car, while in back seat, that spots his body, in the dark, no street light, camouflaged under snow. The other two in the car didn't even see him until she ran up to him. (and one of those witnesses DEFINITELY had no connection to the so called "conspiracy"). She was drunk. Data shows he never entered the house. Her voicemails and children's testimony indicates she has issues and "all was not well in relationship". Missing video from John's ring camera during crucial times. (definitely indicating her cover up) Her "over acting" on the crime scene, classic of guilty people. DNA on the inside housing of the taillight. The drink glass fragments found with taillight fragments on his clothing. I hate you, you pervert voice mail in rage type anger. 24 mph in reverse!!! And then during trial NEVER a tear, not even remotely close. In fact she laughs. If you can't see through this OJ style defense then you have a closed mind. And coincidentally; the prosecution was not very good, just like the OJ trial. She might just get away with murder like him.
