There is a saying in Mexico: Small town? Huge Gossip! (Meaning more like quarrels). Classic small town or close community attitude where even smaller groups have no other hobbies than observe and criticize their neighbors, families and friends. Betcha whatever this Group has even bigger issues with another group in that hood/town/community. Which may be the ones Colin was sending h ok a threats to. That’s how it goes.
@jediping4 ай бұрын
@@900108Chale Except the people Colin was beefing with were from another town. Also I still soooo disagree with calling Canton a small town. My brother lives in a small town of 600ish people. He would laugh at anybody calling Canton a small town. Yes, there are connections, largely around having children the same age. The defense is making a lot out of the fact that most of the people together that evening knew each other, even though of course they did, that’s how they all got invited. Yes, there are other connections, and Proctor should NEVER have been the one to investigate this case (or any other one IMO based on how badly he handled this one) but I wish people would stop with the “small town” stuff. ONE of the EMTs had a connection to the family, and she’s not the only one that heard KR say something about hitting JO. Again, there’s doubt here, but I find the term “small town” so misleading that I think it is raising doubt about stuff that it shouldn’t.

And Karen wasn’t jealous of his relationships with Laura and Kerri and Jen and … ? And if John did truly see her that way, as reported by a close friend, would that not piss Karen off? I get that it’s clear there’s no love lost here. It could be as you seem to think, that these were all a bunch of jealous hags all out to get John for themselves, even if they were all married or in other relationships. But it could also be that they felt Karen wasn’t good for John and didn’t warm to her because of that. Women aren’t all walking balls of jealousy and possessiveness. Some are, sure. But my sis, for example, has no problem with her husband not only maintaining friendships with other women but even giving one of them some of their money to help her through a rough patch. In the case of Karen and alll these other women, I’m more inclined to believe the majority than the minority. But I don’t think we have proof enough either way.

If I were Jen & I had seen them pull up at 34 Fairview & then leave without coming in, I would be asking Karen where she and John went *after they left. Questions that would've made sense to ask: Where did you go after the Waterfall? What do you remember after you got home? Did you guys have a fight? Is it possible he went to a friend's house after you fell asleep? Is his car there? Did he walk to a friend's house to cool down & then maybe fall asleep there? It makes no sense that Jen would insist on going to 34 Fairview when, by her own testimony, she never saw John get out of the car or enter the house. So, why would he be there? And for the record, I fully believe Kerry's version that Jen was the one who put going to 34 Fairview out there and Karen, in her panic, latched onto that. Kerry even said they *both were insisting on going there but Kerry made them go to John's house first to check there.

It seems to me, that the prosecution needs a reason why Ms Reed would run over Mr O'Keefe. Since everyone at the bar said they weren't fighting and seemed fine, they need to give a reason without proof there was a fight. So with the vacation incident happening just a short time ago where he "kissed" another woman (though that fight was also blown out of proportion), they are trying to imply that with Mrs Macabe giving directions using Bella's house as a landmark, that it caused a fight between Mr O'Keefe and Ms. Reed. Ms Reed then ran him over in a jealous rage. Obviously there is no witness to it, but that is what they want you to think. That is why it is mentioned a lot, and also why the Macabes kept saying they were wondering if they fought and thats why they left and didn't go in the house, and also why they testified that they used the same landmark, Bella's house, on the way to look for Mr O'Keefe. I believe both women in the car said it was mentioned about 2 exes, a dance instructor and Bella's mom, though Mrs. Roberts said the dance instructor was like 10 years ago. Mrs Macabe said Ms Reed got upset at the mention of Bella's mom and said something about did he sleep with her or go to her house. I can't remember exactly. I just feel they are hoping the jury will make that logical leap because to have intent to commit the action of unaliving a person the why is important. Juries also like to have a why, but no one can testify to a fight on that night. So why would she intentionally commit the act if they were having a good time?

I feel like the prosecution is butchering this. Who ever killed the guys probably did it on accident. If it was Karen, it was not premeditated because as far as we know, she had no motive to kill him. Instead of going after her for accidentally hitting him, they made this huge mess because most of the witnesses are unlikeable and frankly some are lying. To me, it seems like the defense is doing a better job because of how unreliable and awful some of these witnesses are. it mostly likely was Karen, probably accidentally and she might not have even realized she did it. But man, Jen Mcabe seems so guilty. Like she has no motive but everything she does makes me feel like she’s guilty. That family is just so unlikable and unreliable that they make themselves look super guilty. Now if she really did google the how long can you live in the snow, that really changes things because it lends to the idea that she knew he was out there. And if she knew, why wouldn’t she call the police? Why wouldn’t she get help? But why would the Mcabe’s kill him?

How judge hasn't thrown out case to save face of the courts and prosecutor's all in America care more about this case than all Trump's cases combined

Why would she go back to get him if she “knew” she run him over?

GOT TO PLAY IT OFF LIKE SHE KNEW SHE WASNT GOING STRAIGHT HOME TO GET IN THE BED THAT WAS JUST ANOTHER EXCUSE TO GET FROM UNDER HIM TO GO DO WHAT SHE REALLY WANT WITH WHO SHE WANT TO DO IT WITH

Laura Sullivan and her child have suffered so much. And yet she was called by the prosecution to testify that John was annoyed and frustrated with his girlfriend on a vacation over a misunderstanding. Really? Nearly feels like harassment!
