Thanks Cliff, for introducing Karen to Tom, I would suggest showing her Best Rapper Ever, it's one of my favourites and in my opinion Nova's best video work done entirely in their own home during lock. Karen, Tom said the eye lid tattoos didn't hurt that much, he said his most painful were on his chest, I think he meant his rib cage. That feeling when you've long since just accepted that Tom does Tom things the Tom way and kindof forget that anybody watching him for the first time will think he's an absolute maniac, and then realizing all over again that yes he absolutely is...just a truly golden moment. Great Reaction! That was a great song to start with for her! I had never heard it before and I love it! Tom wrote another song about his critics called Don't Look Down. Cliff, one of the things I think Karen will love about Tom and Nova is their versatility of being able to create their music in multiple genres and their adeptness at blending genres together within a single song. I'm looking forward to seeing her reaction to "Hey You" by Nova -a powerful blending or rap and rock, "Problem" which shows why Tom says Nova is the best rapper he knows, and "Lost Girls" and "Did Your Best" that show how great of a story-teller she can be in her songs. A great contrast-point with Tom's music for Karen to see is this song compared to "Superman" for her to see how versatile he is. Both Tom and Nova are very talented music-artists, with Nova also being an extremely-skilled videographer as part of them being the power-couple that they've become. Individually, they're both awesome; however when they work together they form a gestalt of genius that's greater than the sum of their parts. Be sure to steer Karen to "Gang Gang" and "Ghost" at some point - their love songs to each other. No rush though. As deep as the Tom and Nova rabbit hole is, it's a long, wonderful trip to get to the bottom of it.
