Good morning! 🌞 I'm trying the egg 'omelet' one now! I sautéed my mushrooms to release their water first, can't wait till it's done! I'm hungry! Sharp cheese, black olive slices and mushrooms in mine, hubby wants it plain just cheese and eggs. We shall see... Ok, we both liked them. But morning is - well morning, we are just waking up. Compared to the simple medium boiled eggs we cook in the Instant Pot, these bites are a lot more trouble. With the boiled eggs there is no fuss, no muss, no virtually NO clean up! Mine came with kids too. However, they are safe and do not melt. I have used they a lot. I find putting the paper towel on the top of the batter helps soak up extra moisture too.

Hi first I like watching your ideals for the egg bites mold, but I also use the egg molds with the plastic lid and I’ve never had no problems with the lid melting, in the instant pot pressure cooker, mines work just fine, even if I over fill my bites comes out just fine, but Happy New Years To you and Your Family, Thank You for your Great Ideals. I know this comment is super old and that you might not see my reply, but you'll be absolutely fine if it's a silicone lid. :) I wouldn't do it if it was plastic, though. :) The IP gets way hotter than the boiling point of water, and plastic can't stand up to being boiled, so I'm sure it'd be leaching crap into my food at temps which are even higher than that. :) Lol come to think of it, it'd probably be leaching crap into my food at temps much lower than that. :)

Get a collapsible or lower profile steamer basket with handles instead of the lift-out stand-off piece. Works just the same way for lifting out items but doubles as a steamer basket you could even add the other metal stand off on top of to separate a crock onto.

FYI, I used the Neufchatel cheese for an IP New York style cheesecake a few days ago. It was made in a regular push-up pan. It never did set up after cooking; it stayed soft. I scooped it out of the pan and put it in a freezer container and ate it frozen topped with cherry pie filling. It was delicious, but I will not use this type of cheese in the future. I've made it before with Philadelphia brand cheese and it always comes out perfectly.

I have a Crockpot Express, no manual or pressure cook button , all specific, but anything close might be the steam button, would that be the appropriate button? Janet O I have the Crockpot Express. The Beans/Chili button is our equivalent of the manual button. I have a 4 qt, 6 qt, and 8 qt Crockpot Express and love them.

The Bosch universal, with or without the blender is a bakers dream. My first one lasted 25 years and often mixed and kneaded 5 loaves of yeast dough from whole wheat flour. 800 watts of power and I rarely got higher than the 2nd power on the dial. The current generation with removable drive shaft was a game changer for cleaning the bowl.

Hi, every time I make rice it seems to come out all sticky even Basmati in my instant pot. What am I doing wrong? I do equal water with rice and cook on manual pressure high for 6-8 mins and let the pressure decrease naturally. If anyone knows or has tips? I'd appreciate it.

Aren’t you supposed to invert the pan while it cools to prevent it from collapsing? I would not add the parchment paper the cake needs the sides to climb/rise. The cake would have more volume.

Getting conflicting information about the instant pot egg bites pan. The lid says on my set.. "dishwasher safe, freezer safe, bpa-free, do not use lid in oven or stove top." Pan says ... "dishwasher safe, freezer-safe, bpa-free, do not use in oven or stove top" Instant pot sale page says.. " Lidded pan specially designed for use in Instant Pot pressure cookers" . Many are saying you can't use the lid in the instant pot or oven but say you can use pan in oven and instant pot. 🤔 has this item been updated or there's somebody else know different?
