I met Janice de Belen when I was in HS in one of the smaller cities in Mindanao. My mother was in media thus the chance and opportunity was there. When I met her, I was totally in awe of her. My mom is a single mother who raised us very well. I used to hate the fact the she’s always at work and doing side hustles when we were younger, but now that I’m old, I understand the reason why she have to work and all the efforts and the events she have to missed is always for us. Now, I appreciate her everyday and my love and respect for her grows everyday. I learned a lot of things from her and I hope she’ll be kind to herself too and love herself more… Love and respect your mother’s, you don’t know what they have to give up just to give you the life you have. It’s not our obligation to pay back, but it’s our responsibility to give them the life they always wanted and give them only what we can and have. Happy Mother’s Day to all mom’s out there!
