Nagka- SHINGLES ako 2023. Bukod sa pagiging elderly na, medyo stressed yata ako noon at kulang sa tulog dahil sa insomnia. Kaya weak immune system. Kaya noong lumabas ang makati at masakit na rashes na naging bulutong tubig- maagang nalaman na Shingles ito at maaga ding naumpisahan ang anti- viral na gamotan. I worked as a medical receptionist in an outpatient clinic before here in US. My patient kami na elderly na may shingles, and my boss warned me about it and asked if i had a shot already. Hindi common sa pinas ang shingles marinig, first time ko marinig and i didnt know if i had one. Buti na lang di ako nahawa. Im glad maging mas aware ang mga tao sa sakit na ito.

Nagka shingles ako sa edad na 52 last 2019 dito sa abroad, umuwi ako ng pinas pra mag rest at isa sa nka tulong sa pag galing ko ang Vitamin B1, 6,12 pra sa nerves, aside sa pagkain ng gulay at prutas at tamang pahinga.

Nagka bulutong ako when I was a kid so may possibility daw magka shingles later in life which I did. Grabe ang sakit, parang hinihiwa ang laman mo sa loob, my doctor gave me two prescription medicines to treat the painful nerves and the other one to treat the shingles. 2-4 weeks to heal and sometimes longer.

Nagkaroon ako nyan ng elementary ako, sa tyan gumapang sa likod, sobrang sakit di nako makatulog sobrang sakit pati pag hinga ko apektado,nahihirapan ako huminga. True po.. once n super stress bumabalik tlaga sha.. i hate my cuz’n dhil hinawaan nya ako and as a single mom ang hirap magkasakit ng gnito.. ive experienced it like every after 2 mos, i had it first nong 2021 then 2022 prang 3-4 ulet ako nagkaroon .. basta naccstress ako dagdag p ung fact n asthmatic ako so mhina din immune system ko kya tinubuan ulet ung loob ng nose ko. Buti nlng sobrang aware n ako symptoms like nag chichill/ fever at sobrang sakit ng ulo at kakaibang bigat ng katawan… so once n nfefeel ko ung gnon automatically magpapa prescribe n ko ng meds sa doc ko.. and for now as much as possible iniiwasan ko n ma stress kc un lageh nagti trigger and lageh take ng vits C

I am working in pharmacy in U.S. thats why you need to get vaccine. Under 50 yrs old recommended to get Varicella Vaccine and when you’re 50 yrs old and older recommended to get Shingrix Vaccine.

Glad you were able to tackle this… Great for awareness. As I myself didn’t know this existed till it hit me, I shrugged it off first, I thought it was some kind of rash or allergy… till I felt pain on my lower back, then I thought of going to an Internal Medicine Doctor thinking it could be a kidney problem, since I’m prone to UTI, (would have lower back pain whenever it’s terrible)… till I showed it to my sis in law and she quickly said it looks like Shingles and I should go see a Dermatologist since it can cause a serious Health damage or problems from there… It was the most painful (physically) sensation I’ve ever felt in my whole existence… (high pain tolerance here 🙋🏻‍♀️)The Dermatologist said it usually happens just once in a person coz I brought up the vaccine topic and she said She thinks I don’t need to be vaccinated since I’m not a senior yet😅 but watching that it happened 3-4x to someone triggered my anxiety of it happening again. I can’t endure it the 2nd time, I even said before that if it happens again, I’d just jump from the rooftop of our building 😢

Akala ko pangangalay lang . The next day, may tumubo ang mga shingles. Pinaalbularyo ko doon biglang lumala din nag search ako sa google I found this shingles. My father had this illness at his back. We called it Balangaw here in Leyte. His friends suggested different types have home remedies. Pero yung effective tlg yung apari/apali root crop yung parang yam namadami ang roots. Super sakit yan. Level 2 ng bulutong or Shingles. Di ka makakatulog at super sakit para kang sinusunog at tinutusok. Dahil super masakit sya irritable ka din at mabilis uminit ulo mo kaya patiece din sa pamilya kasi masakit talaga sya the fact na mataas ung tolerance ko sa pain nasaktan din talaga ako. Ayoko ung pakiramdam na kinukuryente. Nagkaroon ako nyan. Normally nangyayari yan kapag mababa ung immune system mo, at sa mga immuno compromised na tao. Kaya dapat laging mag exercise, at vitamins. Kasi ung bulutong eh virus nasa loob lang ng katawan inaantay lang nya humina immune system natin then mag re-reeactivate sya ulit.

I got this before. I had this in my inner thighs. And the feeling was excruciating burning pain. I felt like I was burning alive. It looks like blisters and it multiplies so fast. I thought it was a rash until I saw a lot of blisters coming out every couple of hours. I got super scared because it multiplies so fast. Doctor explained it to me and he Wondered how that virus was dormant in my body and it got some up as I told him I had chicken pox when I was a kid and this is what he diagnosed to me.

Ms. Karen dito sa Canada me vaccines na may ibibinigay ang Dept. of Health, sa mga clinic or pharmacy clinic, kung ang aged mo ay less than 80 yrs old noon, lahat ng mag pa vaccines, ay cost us $300.00 but lately,just this year 2024 ay 75 yrs old na lng we could get it free as seniors. At kung low ang immune system as very sickly ang individual, free na din ang vaccines, kahit Wala ka pang aged as seniors. So we are lucky here sa Quebec Montreal, at mostly seniors aged 75 yrs old ay free na sa Shingles vaccines.

Nangyare sakin yan 30 yrs old ako sa mukha bandang right side ng panga pa tumubo mula pisngi hanggang leeg sobrang hapdi sakit parang sinisilaban yung panga ko di ako mkatulog natakot ako nahiya at na depressed kase that time puhunan ko rin yung mukha ko since sa mall retail ako nag wowork grabe yung rashes at peklat sa mukha ko sobrang down ako at depressed thank god nawala rin xa pati yung mga peklat. Di ko na matandaan yung gamot pero yung vitamins na nireseta sakin till now iniinom ko pa rin since sa nerves ang tama nyan yung vitamin B complex na nireseta sakin yun na yung vitamins ko bukod sa vitamin c.

A few years later, I was diagnosed with SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus). That’s when I realized that I’ve had weak immune system all along. May shingles ako now or Herpes Zoster. Nagstart siya nitong friday lang Aug. 23, 2024. Nung una Sa akin hindi siya masakit hindi makati. So nagturo pa rin ako sa Saturday class ko sa College. Pumunta ako ng General Hospital sa amin after my class, nag CBC at Urinalysis and they said it's an acute bacterial infection. So ang nireseta ay citerizine at ointment. Nagkaroon ako ng doubt by Monday humingi ako ng 2nd and 3rd opinion sa ibang doctors ayun positive Herpes Zoster kaya naresetahan agad ako ng Antiviral drug at Antipain for nerve. Aftee 4 days, ramdam ko na ang sakit. Praying sana mabilis ang recovery ko. ❤❤❤

I had this 2 months ago, sobrang sakit talaga nito at hindi ka patutulugin. Need mo talaga pumunta sa dermatologist para ma treat ng tama kasi kapag hinayaan mo lang sya pwedeng madamage yung nerves at yung sakit pwede umabot ng 1 year.

Nagkaroon ako nyan last year mild lang ang rashes sa left side of the back and front; pero grabe ang skit. Halos gusto ko ng bumigay. Matagal bgo nawala; at khit ngyun, minsan may kirot at hapdi pa din. Parang hiwa ng blade. Sana tuloy tuloy na ang pag kgaling. Sa loob ang ataki ng kirot. Pinuntahan ko dermatologist, 21 days akong pinainum ng antibiotic medyo mahal yung gamut.

Had my shingles (shingrix) vac 2 wks ago here in dubai.. Hindi ako nagka shingles but makulit kc si employer dapat daw magpa vaccine.. Prevention is better than cure daw.. For locals here, it's required esp. If 50yrs old and above, it's free for them but for expats walang libre need magbayad at ang mahal din pla ng vaccine ng shingles

I had shingles when i was 33. Nagstart sya as parang tuldok lang, akala ko nga kagat lang ng insect. Mga 6 dots sya, akala.ko din rashes. After mga 3dqys saka xa nagkaron ng watery appearances and super painful. That feeling na tinutusok ka ng nagbabagang pako. Pinachek ko sa office nurse and yan nga ang diagnosed, i was rushed to the hospital and advised to quarantine and take meds. Super bagsak immune system ko that time having a mom diagnosed with brain cancer and work was toxic. Good thing nagamot agad, the meds ang tataas ng dosage.

Nagkaron na Rin aq Ng shingles or herpes zoster nkakaranas daw nito ung nagkabulutong before..grabe sakit tumpok cia na bulutong na may tubig namumula ung sakit tumatagos at talagang maiiyak ka kc di mo alam Anong gagawin pag sumasakit mainit din ulo mo ung irritable ka halos 1week din ung sakit..may tableta lng aqng ininom at ointment pinapahid.

Husband had shingles or herpes zoster. Before that he had a series of laboratory check ups and ultrasound at a well known hospital. At first, his left side hurt a lot and thats when i saw those red boils and right away we went to the doc and he was given anti viral medications After a week, he was healed. Me I thought insect bite sa right side ng aking pisngi. The 2nd day namaga na buong right face kaya I seek a doctor right away dahil sinabi ko na insect bite maybe bin😅gyan lang ako ng anti allergy , the following day may sinat na ako so I went back to the doc dun na nya sinabi na shingles. So painful. My shingles deceiving because there was no rash. Got even misdiagnosed. Not all shingles shows rash. The pain was crazy. Stress is the culprit.
